Well, I waited all day Tuesday for it to hit. It didn't. Meaning I cancelled a ton of the errands I was gonna get done and stuff for nothing, however, I did start to feel like crap. Achey, throat killing me, exhausted... awesome. Luckily knowing I had today off helped. And I bailed on rehearsal last night hoping to get to bed early and nip this thing in the bud before it went full-fledged flu on me.

I definitely feel better today, although I am still tired and my throat hurts. And I'm SUPER bummed I don't get to play in the snow. Day off + snow = awesome! Day off + snow + sick = SUCK...

Well, my computer has sorta taken a break. Basically, yesterday about 30 minutes before I was going to head to 14/48 to blog the touchpad would only right click and the keyboard stopped working. Luckily, my new roomie came through like a CHAMP! He is letting my borrow his laptop this WHOLE WEEKEND until I can take it into the genius bar on Sunday to probs find out I need to get the keyboard replaced.

Luckily, this morning I woke up and the touchpad has righted itself, but... no such luck with the keyboard. Basically, if I tried to write something it would turn out like this: ghufuthgdi tisytwhfk yojf woie ghuys gouh woueytdj bgojd Yeah... no good. So, anyways...

I also cannot get to my former pics from yesterday because they have uploaded them to my computer, but cannot log into my blogger account because I cannot make my keyboard work. Le sigh... So, as soon as all is good and fixed, I will upload those later...

I wore this to my early mid-shift this morning and then Jess and I were gonna meet to exchange presents, but with the crazy-times rain today, we bailed. She came over for a bit and we chatted for a short time but bailed early. Yesterday's yoga killed me. I was super sore this morning... le boo. But it was good too. I'm glad that it was so great.

I also finally got some laundry done today. Finally. Clean sheets make me happy pants. Tomorrow I open, hit up some more yoga, get a massage and then head to the first 14/48 meeting where they pick the theme, the playwrights and the actor count for the shows that the writers then write all night and I'll be back bright and early Friday morning to blog about all those shenanigans too! I wore this to this morning's short open. And the reason I look so tired? I had literally jumped outta bed about a minute or two before I took this picture. My "I'll just close my eyes for five more minutes" rather quickly turned into 30, so I work up 3 minutes before I usually leave. BUT I totes made it to work on time! I have to thank the fact that my body woke me up at 130am thinking I needed to get up and I got all the way through putting my contacts in before realizing I had two more hours to sleep (so, one less thing to do at 4:05) and my inability to hang up clothes quickly (grabbed closest ones from my desk) for my getting to work on time. So, thank you, crazy situation for actually working out.

Also, the fact that I forgot my earrings today had not one, not two, but THREE regulars comment on it. They were all like, "Where are my earrings today?" It made me giggle. Apparently, I have a "thing".

It was an idea stolen from Portland where random actors get an email asking what their availability for a certain month looks like and what size role they would be interested in, get cast according to that BUT CANNOT TELL ANYONE ELSE. They then rehearse with the director one-on-one and come to the performance (It's a Wonderful Life, in this case), as if they were audience members, sit in the audience and do not enter the stage until THEIR FIRST LINE. No one knows their scene partners and no one has rehearsed together with anyone else. And it was amazing. Basically, pure Seattle Theatre royalty (both on and off stage) and it was epic. Def wanna do the one in the spring (crossing my fingers...)

Well last night's dinner, drinks and Cinderella with la mama were all very fun and festive and then, just as I am gearing up for a semi-short night's sleep before my open this morning, we both realized that her car had been broken into and her work briefcase and laptop had been stolen... Needless to say, we were stuck waiting for a cop for about 45 minutes and I didn't get home and into bed until after midnight... Three hours sleep is hard for a 8-hour shift. But I got through it. And I even booked it over to yoga afterwards and I am glad I did because I really needed to relax a bit.

So much stress from last night and my shift today. Seriously, after I got home after our little ordeal, I literally piled two extra blankets on me, cranked the heat and wore a sweatshirt with the hood on and was STILL cold. Standing outside in the rain for over an hour = not fun. Plus, poor mama. This whole thing just sucks. No one wants to come outta a good night and see that. BOO on creepy crackheads stealing shizz!
