We limo'd from la mama's to Kerry Park where we took prom pics (and I yelled "Prom is fun!" a lot. Mostly because there was clearly a prom group doing the same thing and it made me giggle) and ended up at BalMar to dance the night away! And dance we did.
It was super fun and I hope the seestor enjoyed her send-off as much as I enjoyed giving her one. Now that it's over though, I know that she is really leaving me and that makes me all weepy...
Jacki's rehearsal and rehearsal dinner were very nice. I think that the wedding will be absolutely beautiful (and pray for weather like this so it can be outside!) and I cannot wait to sing for her and Kent! And celebrate their new life together. It's gonna be super funtimes.
At the dinner Lindy and I sat at this totes random table and made friends with Kent's uncle, gramma, cousin and roomie from college. They were good company and it was nice to find the other single girl who will be at the wedding.
And, of course, they got my food wrong (I will always order salmon over halibut!) and so I was just sitting there with no food while everyone else ate. Very funny. Kent's mom took a picture of me all sad with no food in front of me... But all was good. The waitress said that happens sometimes and when they brought out my food was very apologetic and checked in with me like 10 times. Bajaja!
