I'm getting ready to head out to the first performance on the final week of Trojan Women. Yesh! This thing has FLOWN by. I am a little happy for it to almost be over. I am really proud of it and have had an absolute blast working on it, but... It exhausts me. I am so tired and this play just sucks it outta me. At least I don't have to open tomorrow (I get to go in at 630... so two more hours, which is loverly).

I am getting ready to head out to rehearsal/photo shoot tonight (hence the ridic amount of jewelry and the attempt to wear something both Grecian and modern). Today I spent most of the day working on my script. Memorization, analysis, etc... I am ready to go to rehearsal now. w00t!

I am gearing up to head out to the late night 14/48. It was kinda weird today. Not doing anything. I felt like I was doing something wrong by lazing around.  I hadn't had a lazy day off since I got back from Hood Canal (which was back before NYE, oh yeah, like 12/28) a whole 2.5 weeks ago(!). Yeah. So I needed this. I needed today. Tomorrow I have a brunch (housewarming for Patrick & Kenna--Yay!), then nothing to do for a while until I head to Spring Awakening tomorrow night. Then back to work on  Monday...

Excited to see both of them and hopefully kick off some of this Xmas spirit I've been waiting to feel for a while now (no, listening to the Nutcracker Suite every morning before 6am does not count. Although, it has happened. Every day. Since November 15th)... SPIRIT! Come find me! I only have one more 9-hour shift to get through before Xmas! Do IT!

I wore this out to catch Patrick rock it (again) as the Bogle in Jacon Marley's Xmas Carol (bringing the grand total, so far, of Xmas shows I have seen this year up to SIX! Which I think is pretty damn substantial!). It was fun and super short, so I was able to get home by 9:30 and in bed by 10... So boring this week...

Window Blues

Gearing up to head to the 3rd and Pike holiday/Kayla's going away party at a co-workers house tonight. Tomorrow is also the only shift in my nine-days straight that is not an opener, so good timing, party, good timing.

Tomorrow night I head over to la mama's to dog-/housesit for three days and then tomorrow night is cheapy Chinese food, catching up and crazy times theatre with Carolyn! Followed by another opener with a doctor's appointment and yoga thrown in followed by another opener with a massage & some good theatre starring a great friend followed by another opener followed by some more yoga and possibly a new roomie(!), followed by another opener (and some death), followed by another opener and (possibly?) some Xmas Eve Hawks football? Let's cross our fingers on that one...

LONG ASS WEEK! But I am excited to have some fun times thrown in there.

This was my opening night outfit!  It went SOOOOO well!  I am beyond excited to work on this show for the next five weeks!  Tonight I am meeting one of my castmates at Auto Battery to watch the first bit of the Husky/Stanford game (HUGE GAME) before heading back to do it all again! And then tomorrow I work my first opening shift in a loooong time before meeting with the roomie to chat about the apartment.  Next week, I house sit for la mama!

Super enjoyed Inherit the Wind and seeing Patrick last night (finally remembered to give him WW season 5...)!  And, of course, the absolutely GORGEOUS summer (September) weather. Now I'm getting ready to head out to Nathaniel and Jenna's wedding and enjoy being outside and celebrating with all the college friends I haven't seen in a bit. Yay!

Tomorrow I'm gonna go hangout with my friend at his pool! YES!  Loving this mid-80s September weather.  Thank you, Seattle!

Whew!  Good nappy, now heading to Patrick's bday drinkles at Solo.  Hangout for a bit and then come back home to gear up for my last opening of the week.  I just keep remembering myself of my mantra, "four day weekend starts at 1130am tomorrow..." DONE AND DONE!

Excited for some time off from the 'Bux and jumping back into rehearsal with both feet. Then a day off to celebrate the Fourth before we head into tech (and back to work...). This is the go time.
