Um... Can we talk for a second about how utterly and ridiculously brilliant this is? It's karaoke. But without any of those slow boring ballads. Or contemporary popular songs (I got a lovely rant in response to why there is no Lady Gaga on the list). And accompanied. Live. By an organist. Um, yeah... brillz. The next one is on June 17th (2 days after my bday, anyone?) and I really plan on trying to get there if my rehearsal schedule permits. I made new friends, reconnected with old ones and killed singing Blondie. Does it get any better than that?
