Mormon-Ville Day 3: The Epic Day of Epicness

tee: Kimchi Blue from Urban, tank: Costco, pants: Jolt from Nordstrom, boots: Blowfish from DSW, accessories:  Charlotte Russe necklace
It was supposed to be so easy.  Get to the airport by 730 to return the rental car, get through security, get on the plane to Denver, transfer to the plane home, audition, go home.  And then it all went terribly wrong.  Some loverly first mate did not show up for work.  No one knew why and we needed one to take off according to the TSA, so there we sat all ready to take-off, with no fault of anyone in the plane and every single person on that plane missed their connecting flight.  EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. We sat and waited for a replacement first mate, but the first option fell through, so then we were gonna deboard and get reassigned, but then a new one was found (driving outta the parking lot), so we waited.  And we waited.  And we waited.  And by the time the plane actually took off we were more than an hour late.

Once we arrived in Denver, the bags we checked plane-side had some issues... Lindy's green tag fell off during the plane ride and since she didn't rip off the claim tag, it had to be checked.  Only problem, we didn't know what plane we were on (that and her computer on the top of the bag), so it got checked and we were left to watch movies on my ipod for the 4 hour wait.

Luckily, we found the nicest United employee to help get Lindy onto the 340 flight (instead of the 705 flight) home and me onto the top of the stand-by list and we both got on AND got to sit next to each other.  We also got her bag, no problem, and headed to la mama's for a big spaghetti dinner.  A good ending to a supes stressful day.
