New boots! New boots! Yay! How cute are they! (Even though you can't QUITE see them) I am in love. For cereal. Wore this to rehearsal last night. We have Evening Magazine there tonight to film a little segment for Thurs night's show; our preview is on Thurs; and we open Fri! Today I enjoy my day off and prepare for my big callback later this afternoon.

I wore this to my first Bernarda Alba rehearsal! SOOOO excited for this show! I love my cast and my part (which is a LOT bigger than I remembered it being from my first read of the script...). Plus, it's going to be good. It already seems well thought out and really organized. Basically, I can't wait.

Then I had my audition for the Alice in Wonderland inspired musical. It seemed to go well, so... now I'm just hoping I can actually do both if I get cast... We shall see... First of all, I need to be called back though...

I'm getting ready to head out to the first performance on the final week of Trojan Women. Yesh! This thing has FLOWN by. I am a little happy for it to almost be over. I am really proud of it and have had an absolute blast working on it, but... It exhausts me. I am so tired and this play just sucks it outta me. At least I don't have to open tomorrow (I get to go in at 630... so two more hours, which is loverly).

I wore this to my opener this morning and I went ahead and wore it out to Costco later on... Boo on the trip taking too long to make yoga, but yay for ordering new contacts (four boxes for $100--yes, please!) and for getting a few fun foodzies in the process. But BOO on having to pay the renewal fee. Like I have the monies...

On the good news front, Nordys called to say that my boots (all three!) are mended and all ready to go! Yes! That means no more wet feet (oh yeah, the boots above totally leak) and no more holes in the bottom of my expensive boots. And all for $30. This is why I shop at Nordstrom.

Oh sweet nothing! I have tickets to a show on Friday night, plans to see The Artist with Dani on Saturday, maybe grabbing drinks with Jess Saturday night and possibly hitting up the late show of 14/48, then going to Spring Awakening Sunday night with Sarah. So ya know, sweet nothing. Relaxing weekend off.

In less than 24 hours I will be completely off for two whole days. w00t. w00t, indeed.

So effing exhausted and then I headed down to the Apple store to get my computer fixed and hang out for a bit in case they fixed it right away (THEY DID!) and seriously, since they did and I was still there it was awesome. Thanks, Apple! And for FREEZIES, too!

I wore this to my early mid-shift this morning and then Jess and I were gonna meet to exchange presents, but with the crazy-times rain today, we bailed. She came over for a bit and we chatted for a short time but bailed early. Yesterday's yoga killed me. I was super sore this morning... le boo. But it was good too. I'm glad that it was so great.

I also finally got some laundry done today. Finally. Clean sheets make me happy pants. Tomorrow I open, hit up some more yoga, get a massage and then head to the first 14/48 meeting where they pick the theme, the playwrights and the actor count for the shows that the writers then write all night and I'll be back bright and early Friday morning to blog about all those shenanigans too! Blogging this whole weekend. Starting tomorrow night. Oh, 14/48 virginity, I wish I was losing you in a more actor-ly way but... still! Excited to party with all my theatre peeps!

But I made it through and watched some football and ate black eyed peas and cornbread and celebrated New Year's Day with la mama and the seestor. Yay! Plus, super good night's sleep last night...

Um, super excited about my new hair color.  It's pretty red.  A little bit redder than I had anticipated too, but I like!  I feel a little big Mary Jane Watson (but with short hair) or as the receptionist at my massage place said (and I totally agree), like Franka Potente (from The Bourne movies).  It's different for me, but it's gonna be FUN!

I'm Just a Girl

Well, these shoes totally ATE MY FEET.  I will be stuck wearing flip-flops for a while now.  Back to the grindstone today after a loverly day off yesterday where I literally did nothing. NOTHING. Glorious. But, unfortunately, it meant I didn't sleep very well last night... Blearg. But, at least, I got outta work a half hour earlier than I thought I was going to!

Then I headed to pilates with a different teacher than there was before and she was AWESOME.  Totally KICKED my ASS!  Def wanna go to that class again.

This afternoon I have a meeting with the costumer who is building the costumes for the Steam Punk Circus gig at the end of the month. Cannot WAIT to see those. w00t!  Gigs rock!

Then later on I am meeting with the roomie for dinner.  I have tomorrow off, though, so that's loverly.  Plus the seestor is coming into town tomorrow, so hopefully I'll get to hangout with her! And I have a massage tomorrow and wanna go to yoga before I meet up with the fam.
