Meddlesome

I wore this to my short open yesterday.  And then, with high plans I went back to my apt for some kitteh time and nap time and then I was gonna head over to yoga.  But I bailed. Decided to just go ahead and keep it calm and read and relax a bit before heading to my appt.

And then, it took me 90 minutes (before rush hour) to get from Fremont back to Madrona. Le boo. I basically had to take Buggie for a walk, feed her, change, pack and eat in 20 minutes (can you guess which one I skipped--yup, no foodzies for me) in order to get to the show by call time. Blearg. Oh wells. Not my fault Mercer is screwing everyone hours before and after rush hour (both in the Am & the PM), plus with the viaduct closed? CRAP! I hate traffico.

I wore this to my bizarro shorty shift today and then over to my massage. Tomorrow I open with another shorty shift and then getting ready to pack everything up at la mama's and back to the show!  YAY!  I have missed everyone super a lot. THEN Halloween is this weekend!!!! YES! My fav holiday is almost here and I have three opportunities to wear my kick-ass Bellatrix costume. w00t!

Wore this to my opener on Monday. A full nine hours. YES!  Dear god, do I need the hours.

Then I went over to my apartment to get ready to head to la mama's... and I got a little distracted and started curling my wig for my costume and three hours later I headed over to la mama's and changed quickly before booking it to Bainbridge for my audition (which I rocked! And got a callback!).

Got a day off today and it was amazing. Makes me happy.

Well, sleeping in would have felt amazing. But the loverly "unknown" number that called me at 3:50am, waking me up in a panic thinking that I had somehow misread my schedule and needed to be there for a opener, totally threw off my good night's sleep.  So, thanks for that, random wrong number (who didn't even leave a voice mail).  Sleep is overrated anyways... Blearg.

I did end up having a nice relaxing morning with the pupper however, and even managed to help a woman find her loose doggie while Lady and I were on our morning walk.  Work was slow. And weird.  And long (even though it was a short shift... AND I left a bit early...)

This was what I wore out to my audition as well as what I am gonna wear to rehearsal tonight.  In between I went to yoga and hungout with the Bug. By 2pm today I had already worked more than four hours, auditioned and taken a yoga class... Yesh.

Tomorrow I have a mid-shift and then Jess and I are heading down to watch the Sounders play in the USOC final! And then two days off.

Wore this one to rehearsal and my callback today.  I have an opener tomorrow and then am getting ready for another audition before heading back to la mama's to take care of the Bug (I am currently watching Sun Night Football. God, I heart weekends in the fall). I took her for a little walky right when I got over here and about... five min after we got back it started POURING.  Thank the gods for good timing! w00t!

Well, I was supposed to meet with my BHS girls and have a catch-up drink post-yoga tonight at la mama's, but Jess was feeling crappy, so we are gonna reschedule, but it's OK because I think I needed to  have a night of nothing and going to bed early before having to wake up and give the dog a walk before I head to the bus stop to get to work by my 430am open tomorrow.

Soft Magic

Slept until noon.  Spent the day doing nothing much but cooking, cleaning and watching tv in my pj's.  I am now getting ready to head to the GreenStage vs Wooden O (& Comedy vs Tragedy) softball game.  Last year I was deathly ill and missed it, so I am supes excited to head out there tonight.  I have no idea whether I will play or no, but I am going to be prepared to play and have fun!

And my opening shift tomorrow got switched to a mid-shift, so now I can even have a beer or two (WHAT?!) and really get to stay until the end without being exhausted tomorrow. Then afterwards, Aine & Jess & I are gonna hang out with the Bug at la mama's until I really do go to sleep early for Wednesday's opening shift... Long walk to the bus stop too... blearg.

Well, I'm about to head out to my massage after a super relaxing day of sleeping in, food network and a long walk in the sunshine with the Buggie.  It was super nice to have a birthday of nothing to do before 4pm.  YES!

I don't even have to be at rehearsal until 7:30 either, so I think I'm gonna work on some lines (grab my partner drink at a nearby Starbucks) and probs head over early to work some more, rehearse and then head to Solo for "drinks" with all my peeps!

Happy-pants!  Then another day off mañana. Done and done!

Just got back from a loverly farmer's market brekkie at Carolyn's.  Super YUM! And now I'm getting ready to head to the Night Zero shoot until 5 and then book it home to finish packing my shizz before heading to Merry Wives at Shakes tonight and then home to la mama's afterwards...

Busy weekend.  Gonna try to get a hair cut before the wedding next weekend at some point this week and am a little nervous about trying to fit everything else in.  The things you don't think of when you are offered a job: OMG, I have no clothes to wear.  Like seriously, Starbucks dress code is a black collared shirt, black slacks and black or brown rubber soled shoes.  I own, like, ONE shirt I can wear.  Needless to say, I will be wearing that to my first impression on Wednesday and then hitting Forever 21 & H&M afterwards for some cheapy other options... yesh.  This getting a job thing is harder than I thought!

Tomorrow's goal is to relax and get some sleep, watch some Food Network and give some luvin' to the Bug...
