tank: Mod Cloth, jeans: BDG from Urban, sandals: gifted Zara, accessories: Relic watch
Full on forgot to take a pic of what I wore on Thurs morning and then I threw everything into the wash, so I was trying to wait to publish in order, but then my hair is all crazytimes, so... anyway imagine me in my American Apparel peter pan collar blouse with my Eight-Sixty capris from Nordstrom with my Sperry Top-Siders also from Nordys... Anyways...

The Day That Time Forgot

tank: Costco, sweater: Mod Cloth, jeans: BDG from Urban, shoes: LA Gear (from Lindy's closet), accessories: gifted rings, Charlotte Russe necklace, Relic watch
Was gonna pack another day full and then, I decided not to.  I start my new job tomorrow and have a crazy weekend with the wedding, etc, so I kinda decided I would take a day off... I am about to head to my haircut, but other than that I am not going to plan anything and just enjoy the last day of nothingness I have planned.

I'll share the haircut pics once I get back!

Bacon-Flavored Life

tee: Rubbish from BP for Nordstrom, tank: Costco, sweater: Mod Cloth, scarf: gifted, pants: Jolt from Nordstrom, shoes: LA Gear (scavenged from the dregs of Lindy's closet
So, I am pretty sure that these pants are officially dying.  Getting thin on the inner thigh on both sides... blearg.  Also dead: the Zigi Soho boots I wore yesterday (the right one has officially worn through the soles)... My next big splurge will be a pair of super-nice Frye boots about the same height as those ones that died, but 100% better quality.  That's the goal, at least.

Love, love, LOVED Merry Wives last night!  And, although, I wasn't necessarily prepared to, it was a more than welcome surprise.  Perfect casting, loverly style (super-traditional Shakespearion) and a really clean cut.  It was also the first time I saw that show onstage (marking another one off the list--yeah, that's right, Lonestar Love does NOT count). Definitely glad I threw that thing into my crazy-ass day.

I didn't get home (to la mama's, that is) until around 11 last night and the poor little Buggie was so in need of some luvin', so I gave her a pretty long walk and fed her and then passed OUT!  Looooong day.

Today, I apparently needed a good night's sleep because my alarm did not go off and I full on slept until 11am!  I only woke up because the Bug came into the room as in "LET'S GET UP AND GO!", so I did!  Took her on a ridic long walk and fed her and then hungout with her in the (furniture-less) TV room (Food Network--HELLO!) until the fah-zha picked me up and I helped him run some errands before heading back to the house and working on wedding prep with Jacki.  Another good day in a crazy times week.

Tomorrow, I am getting a haircut!  THANK THE GODS!  I need one soooo badly (look. at. the. bangs!). Gonna try to yoga beforehand and possibly ballet tomorrow night.  And then on Wednesday, I start work.  Yay! New job!

What Would You Do?

tee: American Eagle, tank: Costco, sweater: Mod Cloth, pants: Jolt from Nordstrom, boots: Zigi Soho from DSW, accessories: gifted rings, Relic watch, Charlotte Russe necklace
Just got back from a loverly farmer's market brekkie at Carolyn's.  Super YUM! And now I'm getting ready to head to the Night Zero shoot until 5 and then book it home to finish packing my shizz before heading to Merry Wives at Shakes tonight and then home to la mama's afterwards...

Busy weekend.  Gonna try to get a hair cut before the wedding next weekend at some point this week and am a little nervous about trying to fit everything else in.  The things you don't think of when you are offered a job: OMG, I have no clothes to wear.  Like seriously, Starbucks dress code is a black collared shirt, black slacks and black or brown rubber soled shoes.  I own, like, ONE shirt I can wear.  Needless to say, I will be wearing that to my first impression on Wednesday and then hitting Forever 21 & H&M afterwards for some cheapy other options... yesh.  This getting a job thing is harder than I thought!

Tomorrow's goal is to relax and get some sleep, watch some Food Network and give some luvin' to the Bug...

Interview with a Barista

blouse: Love Squared from Nordstrom, sweater: Mod Cloth, pants: Jolt from Nordstrom, flats: Asos, accessories: Charlotte Russe necklace, gifted shell bracelet, vintage pink earrings
Had my job interview at Uptown this afternoon and it went as well as I could hope for, I think!  The woman who interviewed me said she would let me know by the end of the week whether or not there is a position for me.  I'd love a job, but am a little concerned about both my availability (shops are open until 10pm) and also travel issues (you technically work at all eight locations, including the 2 in West Seattle), but I think I can resolve those and the environment seems really open and supportive! She actually said how happy she was that I have worked in so many different fields and that I had such a great passion in theatre.

I was supposed to grab lunch with the roomie post-interview, but she got the days confused (thought audition today, interview Fri not vice versa), so we just hugged and chatted for a quick minute and then I wandered around handing out my resume in lower QA (hit up four more places!).

Plans for tonight include ballet (say, WHAT?!) and thai food (major pad thai craving).  Ballet because, to be honest, putting on that Jackie O dress a few years after I last wore it, I realized that I no longer have the slim hips and thighs that I did when I was doing ballet all the time.  Not to say I'm not in shape (thanks to yoga!), but I think I need to mix it up a bit.  My upper body is much shaplier from the yoga, but I've lost that definition in my glutes and thighs that I had when I was ballet-ing all the damn time.  New goal: yoga three/four times a week mixed in with ballet once/twice a week.  I'm a little bummed that the teacher I heart so much is on maternity leave (she was sooo pregs when I saw her at FFOK in March), but I think that mixing it up with new teachers is also a good idea.

I plan to be super sore tomorrow (haven't been to ballet in months and months), but I have yoga morning plans and shopping in the afternoon plans (I WILL find some dress options for Pam!) and possibly hitting up a show tomorrow night?

The Great Search

tank: Mod Cloth, sweater: Mod Cloth, jeans: J Brand from Nordstrom, shoes: Asos, accessories: Relic watch,  silver and black gifted bracelets, Charlotte Russe necklace
Whew!  Just got back from spreading my resumes all over the neighborhood.  Everywhere!  I even got a few manager names and times to call back next week.

Yoga was tough today in the best possible way.  Totes good and hard and exhausting.  I have plans to get up early and hit another neighborhood tomorrow (either Cap Hill or lower QA, not sure which one yet)...

Tonight I am gonna go see 9 to 5 with Lindy and then go grab some karaoke time at FFOK.  Possibly getting happy hour drinkzies and foodzies with Lindy beforehand.  Should be good (albeit busy) times!

Pass it Over

tee: kimchi blue from Urban, vest: H&M, skirt: Mod Cloth, tights: gifted, shoes: Sam Edelmann from Loehmann's, accessories: silver & black bracelets gifted, Relic watch, Charlotte Russe glasses necklace, mirror earrings
Well, my loverly computer cord seems to be on the fritz again.  I am desperately trying to keep it from dying completely and seem to be slowly failing... But for now, it's working, so that's good at least.

Tonight I am heading to one of my neighbors (below me) apartments for a Passover seder.  I am bringing wine and chairs and she made a great feast for us and it will be fun to see some theatre peeps, meet new people and eat good food all right downstairs from me. How convenient!

Luck O' the Irish

dress: Mod Cloth, tank: Costco, leggings: H&M, flats: Blink from Asos, accessories: Marc Jacobs watch,  mini-heart necklace, gifted giant green ring
Heading out to catch a friend's show and then up to the Hill for som FFOK of the Irish variety.  Figured I should wear some green so as not to get pinched!

Room is clean and I've laid out most of the clothes I think I'm gonna pack, so now all I need to do is finish cleaning the apt, do some laundry and actually pack everything up.  Shoes and toiletries are about all I have left to put together.

Still at 3 days!

So Deep

halter: Forever 21, sweater: Mod Cloth, shorts: H&M, tights: DKNY, boots: Report Signature from Nordstrom, accessories: Marc Jacobs watch
Jacki's bachelorette party tonight and it was supes fun.  Just hangout with all her friends and ate good foodz and danced.  Glad to be home and preparing for tomorrow.

Plans for manana include doing the yoga (it has been a whiiiiiiiiile...) and hanging out for a bitsy before heading to Dani's show and ultimately to Lindy's (supes belated) bday party.

I also need to do some work for all my callbacks coming up in the next week: Antony & Cleopatra on Sun; Mon is SCT general, Comedy of Errors callback & Tempest callback; and some other time next week I have a callback for Women Seeking... Yesh! But no complaints. This is the best problem to have! Hoping some things come through for this summer. Crossing my fingers!

One of Those Days

blouse: Bebe, sweater: Mod Cloth, skirt: H&M, shoes: Sperry Top-Siders from Nordstrom, accessories: Marc Jacobs watch, Enerjewels (made by Jayne in my Threepenny cast) necklace
Well, I have already had two auditions today. One that went very well (for the Women Seeking... show) and one that was absolutely heinous (the Cour d'Alene summer auditions...yesh).  Seriously, my voice is dead from yesterday.  Hoping to be able to rock it tonight for my GreenStage audition... And tomorrow for the Wooden O aud...

Oh man... gearing up for having absolutely nothing at all to do on Wed.

Show Your Legs

tee: Bitten by SJP, sweater: Mod Cloth, skirt: NEW H&M, tights: American Apparel, socks: Gap, boots: Blowfish from DSW, accessories: gifted earrings
We had a nice show tonight.  A little bit less energy, but less nerves, as well.  It was a stronger show tonight with less mistakes overall (although the audience was a little less awesome--you all we sooooo fab last night!).  It is growing and changing and getting very good.  I like it and am having so much fun!

Matinee tomorrow (and the party afterwards!), so I'm gonna head to sleep soon, but wore the new outfit, so I wanted to share. w00t!

Say It Ain't So

blouse: H&M, sweater: Mod Cloth, tank: Costco, pants: Jolt from Nordstrom, shoes: Sperry Top-Sider from Nordstrom, accessories: giant red hoop earrings, bejeweled bracelet, red beaded bracelet, giant red ring
Getting ready to head back into tech rehearsal to walk through the big movements of the show and then run it.  I think we add costumes and stuff in tomorrow or Saturday when we really start getting into it.

I managed to stop by QFC yesterday to pick up the tech essentials: airbourne, emergen-c, new can of hairspray and a brand new water bottle just to be used for the emergen-c & airbourne.  That stage is HUGE!  Deep and wide and incredibly overwhelming (in the best way possible), but luckily we are playing on the thrust (mostly) and I will be fighting my urge to flatten out and inch upstage.
