I wore this to tech yesterday and then straight on to the Sounders game.  Since la mama had a migraine (pobrecita, I heart you!), I last minute wrangled Dani outta her pj's and into braving traffic and the  everything to grab me and snag a FABULOUS parking spot to make it to the game only a half hour late.  Plus, the first half was not the Sounder's best, and we scored our two winning goals in the last 10 minutes of regular time.  Totes worth the stress to see that game. Plus it was Keller's final regular season home game and he was ridic.  He totes won it for us!  What are we gonna do without him next year?

Tech was long and really difficult.  We literally only got through one part, but it is definitely the most technically challenging section.  Now, to memorize all my new dialogue that I just got yesterday and hopefully tech the rest of the show today... Yesh.

I wore this to my final opening shift for a week and a half! YES! Not saying that I don't have things to do or work to go to, but I do not have to be anywhere at 4:30am for over a week.  And that is amazing. Thank the gods...

It was freezing last night and this morning.  It's really starting to feel like fall around here and, of course, my nose is reacting accordingly.  All of a sudden it's running like crazy and I'm sneezing all the time. Awesome. Just in time for tech. Gotta love my body's sense of humor.

Tech starts tomorrow, so tonight is my last night off for a looooong while.  And, of course, I am planning on seeing a play... What's new?

And tomorrow post-tech, la mama and I are heading to Kasey Keller's final home game!  YAY!

This was what I wore out to my audition as well as what I am gonna wear to rehearsal tonight.  In between I went to yoga and hungout with the Bug. By 2pm today I had already worked more than four hours, auditioned and taken a yoga class... Yesh.

Tomorrow I have a mid-shift and then Jess and I are heading down to watch the Sounders play in the USOC final! And then two days off.

So, I had a day off today and spent the day up East of Issaquah shooting shit.  And it was AWESOME.  Part of me thought that I would hate it, but I didn't.  I hearted it.  I had SOOOOOO much fun.  And I was actually GOOD at it!  Don said that I was the best beginner shot he'd ever seen!  Yay!

Basically, I just wanna go do it again and become better and better and better! so much funtimes!

I got to watch a pretty epic Sounders win on Saturday afternoon (4-3 over the Rapids in our first time playing them since Mullan broke Zakuani so it was well-deserved).  Four goals by the Sounders in one game is pretty effing awesome, but then to throw in that it was STILL a close game?! Yesh. Seven goals in one match is pretty ridic.  Just lovin' that we got that 'W' and that our winning streak continues (onto 11 games now!).

Plus it was nice to hangout with the ol' BHS crew, Aine and Jess.  And take Aine to her first Sounders game!  Yay!

PS Oh dear god was there a shower after the Judkins show (in the rain for only like 15 people in one of the worst spaces--pretty sure that's why I now have a cold.  Awesome.) and some Ezell's.  YUM!

Well, one of my mama's neighbors works for the Sounders so not only did we score ROCKIN' tix to tonight's game courtesy of Coinstar, but we have onfield passes for beforehand to watch them warm up! I am about the take off to meet la mama and the seestor in what is really our last 3 girls hurrah before Lindy has to start packin' up to head back to Mormonville for good(-ish)!  I promised her lots of Skype time and visits (if only to SKI and maybe head to Park City for Sundance? Anyone else wanna come? But no, really to see her).  It's gonna be weird to say goodbye to her again.  It's like I just got used to her being around again... le sigh... I heart you tchissy!

Ran errands this morning (including picking up jeans that needed to be mended) and I am SOOOOO happy it's nice out.  Could not sleep to save my life last night (weird heart beating thing AGAIN), so I ended up taking an ambien and passing out around 2am, meaning not only did I skip yoga this morning, but I didn't even really wake up until la mama called my at a quarter to noon... Hopefully a busy day today will help combat insomnia... DO NOT COME BACK. I DO NOT WANT YOU!

Also, plans to go out with the seestor post-game tonight.  Bringing clothes with me just in cases!  Hoping I get to have one last seestor date before it gets all tainted with me being a tag-along with all her friends... le boo (you know I love them).

But, the Oranjemen (starring my boyfriend) won yesterday, so all I have to do is hope that Paul is wrong (DAMN YOU, PAUL!) and that Germany can pull it off against Spain today! And then...only be able to watch the first hour of the final game on Sun... BOO! Stupid matinée... But I can watch all of the losers' match on Sat? How is that better... Scheduling shows during the World Cup, come on people! GO GERMANY! PS just MIGHT watch the rematch of today's game on ESPN3 so I can enjoy the MASSIVE amounts of pretty that are the German and the Spanish national teams--ridic!

Today for the gloriousness that is 89 degree weather, I am wearing my edme & esyllte teal polka-dot and navy striped skirt from Anthropologie, grey ruffle front Fossil tank and Columbia flip flops. I also threw on my black cap sleeve sweater from Macys for "office appropriateness"

Bling, Sparkle, Shine

Getting ready to kick off this 3-day weekend a little early! Heading outta work in about 15 minutes to shop, head to rehearsal for a run through, then to bed early so I can watch THE WORLD CUP all day tomorrow (7am Germany v Argentina, 1130am Spain v Paraguay--Go Germany! Go Spain!), then BBQ with the fam tomorrow night and heading into the 4th at Dani's parents... Whew! Exhausting and EXCITING! AND THEN, heading into tech and OPENING WEEKEND. It comes fast, it comes furious and it comes fun! Loving life right now!

Today I am wearing my thrifted sheer black tee, teal leopard print tank from Express underneath, jolt black pants, Sperry Top-Siders and black Express v-neck cardi on top. And topping it all off with my Aldo pearl, diamond, black and gold chain BLING necklace.

Cool Cool Summer

OK, so I KNOW I said I wasn't gonna bitch about the (lack of) summer weather here in Seattle, so I'll just let him do it for me. That is all on that.

Yesterday was our first run through (right, we open when again?) and I was actually quite surprised by how well it went. We clearly have a LOT of work to do, but the lines and intent are there, now we just have to make sure we know what we're doing and when we're supposed to be doing it. I also realized that all of my Audrey scenes are SHORT, so as Teresa suggested, she's gonna talk a little slower--gimme more stage time. It's so fun though! And I have these HUGE long breaks... we will fill them up somehow... (card games, anyone?)

I can't wait to get into my corset. That will change everything.

Today and tomorrow we are working trouble spots and then we run again on Fri, I have Sat off for family shtuff (and world cup--w00t!) and then Sun is the 4th AND then we head into tech... crazy times!

I am wearing my Heavenly Couture black sparkly (seriously--"a sparkly") tank with my black Macy's reversible vest over it, my 3/4 length thrifted sweater, cropped side-zip jeans from Pitaya and gladiator sandals from UO.

ART U NEED

So, all my plans of waking up early to watch the USA v Algeria game at the pub down the street flew out the window this morning when my alarm went off at 6am... No good. Kinda bummed I missed it, although I would have missed the Donovan's stoppage time goal anyways (would have needed to leave for work beforehand), so I dunno if that was a good or bad choice, but that's what happened. Now, however, since we won and will be moving on, I have MORE opportunities to watch our boys play some futbol! U! S! A! U! S! A!

Yesterday was loverly! Gorgeous weather and we were able to rehearse outside! And we got to stage the final Touchstone/Audrey scene where I sing. And we get a little kiss! It's gonna be so much fun to work on her more, flushing out both of them and their relationship... BUT I think we'll need to get off book for that to really take off. Physicality will be KEY! And I can't wait to start working on this...

Music rehearsal tonight! These are my favorites, hands down, FAVORITES! They are ususally pretty tedious, but it's doing something I KNOW I can do (and do well), so they are always supes fun. Cannot wait!

Sounders and SIFF

So much for a relaxing morning! I ended up at the Sounders/Earthquakes game (they lost. stupid effing refs) and it was super fun (except for the creeper next to me who was real NASCAR dumb)!

I wore my Ljunberg (yum!) jersey (he played well, but a little stressed with the refs lack-of calls--boo refs), dark grey j brand skinnies, light grey Fossil zip-up and Sperry Top-Siders with my super old red AE puffy down vest.

Then, I went to a double feature at SIFF! Busy, but awesome day. Here I wore the same j brand jeans, black UO Max tee, mustard yellow cardigan from Nordys with my light brown Blowfish side zip boots.

Cyrus and Holy Rollers were very good. I liked Cyrus a lot. It was really funny. Great one-liners and you can never go wrong with John C Reilly, but it was definitely missing something. A little bland.

But Holy Rollers was effing brilliant! Hold crap! Sad and lovely coming of age movie. Jesse Eisenberg is a fantastic actor. I mean, the kid from Zombieland? Who knew?

Another full day tomorrow: cleaning in the morning, Nowhere Boy & I Am Love in the afternoon with Dani (yay!) and LOST SERIES FINALE tomorrow night.

Movie and Sounders Game

Plans for today include seeing "Clash of the Titans" with my Mom and Sister and watching the Sounders game. More later (leaving for the movie now), but check out my low key outfit!
