We have Evening Magazine there tonight to film a little segment for Thurs night's show; our preview is on Thurs; and we open Fri! Today I enjoy my day off and prepare for my big callback later this afternoon.

Screaming Guilt

I wore this to jury duty today. Got placed in the first group and then got selected for a jury, so two or three more days of this and I'll be done. More after the trial ends.

I was a little bummed not to have remembered to email myself these pictures thinking I'd be sitting around all day doing nothing, but since I was placed right away I actually had very little down time. Think I'm not even gonna bring my computer with me tomorrow (I KNOW), but my books will def be coming with me... And my script. Since we have a performance tomorrow night...

I was supposed to have rehearsal for the movie I'm filming tonight, but the director had a family emergency so we canceled. And I am kinda glad. I needed a night off. So thank god.

Then, on Sunday, I have my first closing shift at work, which, of course, coincides with the superbowl (DAMMIT!)...

Wore this last night to my Industry night show. It really was great. An awesome audience and overall an awesome show.  Nice to know that we can take one day off and come back and rock the casbah!  Loved it.  A little bummed I had to book it outta there to make it home to get some sleep before this morning's opener, but still... Slept like a baby.

Now I'm getting ready to head to rehearsal.  Glad to say we are running the whole show today, so we can implement all of the movement and music changes that we made on Saturday.  Just hoping I remember them all...

Big plans for today which didn't all come to fruition... Work, of course, happened for my little shorty shift, but oddly, I was waaaaaaaay more tired today when I started at 11am than when I usually start at 430.  Dunno if it was the coffee, lack of sleep or my body just getting in the the waking up early groove but it was an interesting challenge...

Then, just as I was getting ready to leave and head to la mama's for bday (cheating) sushi, she texted me to say that we have to reched because her knee was bugging her, so I just went over there instead and made dinner (yummy turkey burgers on a bed of mixed greens, tomato, and onion for me and avocado for the mama) and watched some Food Network.  It was good, but now I can't wait until next Sat for real birthday sushi!

Then, I was supposed to go to Stephanie's going away thing, but it felt so good to just hangout and do nothing for once this weekend that I bailed.  Plus I felt like I was helping la mama and I miss her, so it was nice to hang out with her and the Bug.

I have tomorrow off, but have an audition at 1:50 for Book-It, so no yoga.  I will, however, be sleeping in, working the monologue and then just relaxing and enjoying my day off before heading to rehearsal.

Well, I am getting ready to head to my Midsummer audition, so send me good thoughts!  I feel like I am as prepared as I am gonna get for this audition and just really wanna rock it...

Enjoyed the sun today (supposed to be high 70's this weekend! YAY!) and went to yoga for the first time since the accident (felt pretty good, although I definitely noticed differences).  I got the OK from my massage therapist and am gonna try to get an appointment on the schedule as soon as I know my work schedule for next week (I'll get it tomorrow).

I'm feeling pretty rested and ready to head back to work tomorrow.  But first rehearsal tonight!  I am booking it to Magnuson as soon as my audition ends and am excited to really delve into my first scene and this character, in general (um...how DOES one play a non-human, often invisible, all powerful, servant spirit? Yeah, that's what I thought...).
