I wore this to work this morning after literally doing nothing yesterday. At one point I considered going grocery shopping, but then the deluge started outside and I decided to postpone until today... Well, I did shower yesterday, but other than that I think I slept about 16-18 hours and just watched TV and ate. It was glorious. And I still woke up tired this morning (but not in the oversleeping tired way, in the I'm still exhausted even though I got enough sleep last night kind of way).

So, I think I overcompensated and ran a TON of errands and got SO much done today post-work. Managed to decide to get my three working pairs of boots fixed all at once (so, now I'm bootless in rainy Seattle spring...whoops... for about a week... double whoops...) and even though I bought a new pair, they have to be shipped to Nordys and they won't be there for another week or so either. DAMMIT. Oh wells. Guess I'll just be wearing my wellies and changing into work shoes once I get there...

Then I headed to yoga and went directly to a matinee of a Red at the Rep (SO GOOD--definitely stealing a monologue from it, even though it's 2 guys...), did some grocery shopping and came home and made dinner for the week...

Tomorrow's plans include work, Costco run for contacts, oatmeal and other large items then trying to get back in time for yoga, passing out for a bit and then heading to the last weekend of the show! w00t!

Have a Heart

I wore this to my late-mid on Monday (where I spent the whole day thinking it was Tuesday) before heading over to la mama's to feed/walk the Bug and then meet Carolyn for quick drinkles before heading over to the Erickson to get tickets for the AMAZING Theatre Anonymous. It was an idea stolen from Portland where random actors get an email asking what their availability for a certain month looks like and what size role they would be interested in, get cast according to that BUT CANNOT TELL ANYONE ELSE. They then rehearse with the director one-on-one and come to the performance (It's a Wonderful Life, in this case), as if they were audience members, sit in the audience and do not enter the stage until THEIR FIRST LINE. No one knows their scene partners and no one has rehearsed together with anyone else. And it was amazing. Basically, pure Seattle Theatre royalty (both on and off stage) and it was epic. Def wanna do the one in the spring (crossing my fingers...)

Gearing up to head to the 3rd and Pike holiday/Kayla's going away party at a co-workers house tonight. Tomorrow is also the only shift in my nine-days straight that is not an opener, so good timing, party, good timing.

Tomorrow night I head over to la mama's to dog-/housesit for three days and then tomorrow night is cheapy Chinese food, catching up and crazy times theatre with Carolyn! Followed by another opener with a doctor's appointment and yoga thrown in followed by another opener with a massage & some good theatre starring a great friend followed by another opener followed by some more yoga and possibly a new roomie(!), followed by another opener (and some death), followed by another opener and (possibly?) some Xmas Eve Hawks football? Let's cross our fingers on that one...

LONG ASS WEEK! But I am excited to have some fun times thrown in there.
