I wore this on Xmas day to hangout and open present with nana, mama and the seestor and then to dinner and hangout with the rest of the family...

Operation

tee: Lux from Urban, skirt: Mod Cloth, socks: DKNY, boots: Asos, accessories: Relic watch
I wore this out to grab dinner with la mama, the seestor and nana at Il Fornaio for Xmas Eve dinner. Then we drove around and looked at Xmas lights for a bit before heading home to sleepy.

Body Builder

blouse: Forever 21, skirt: BCBG Maxazaria from Nordstrom, tights: Spanx from The Rack, socks: DKNY, boots: OTBT from Nordstrom, accessories: Relic watch
I wore this to my final (9 of 9) shift on Christmas Eve. And, of course, it was a long one. But I made it and then got a loverly day off.

In The Light of The Morning

tee: By 2am from Urban, skirt: thrifted abercromie & fitch, sweater: Halogen from Nordstrom, leggings: American Eagle, socks: Banana Republic, boots: Frye from Nordstrom, accessories: gifted crest necklace, gifted rings, tribal earrings
Gearing up to see la mama & the seestor for some hangout/foodzies time! Excited to see both of them and hopefully kick off some of this Xmas spirit I've been waiting to feel for a while now (no, listening to the Nutcracker Suite every morning before 6am does not count. Although, it has happened. Every day. Since November 15th)... SPIRIT! Come find me! I only have one more 9-hour shift to get through before Xmas! Do IT!

Down for the Night

blouse: Old Navy, skirt: H&M, tie: borrowed form work, leggings: Lululemon, socks: American Eagle Outfitters, boots: Frye from Nordstrom, accessories: giant red hoops
I wore this to my final weekday opener (fourth 430am in a row... fourth of five openers in a row, in general). Oh thank god. I have a long-ass workday tomorrow, but I don't have to start until 6 and once that's over I get a glorious day off. Thank god, seriously. First day off after nine shifts in a row: Xmas. Haha. Good thing we're taking it easy this Xmas. PS Sorry, have not had any time to brave the post-office. CD's will be sent in the mail after Xmas. Love you!

No nap today, but after yesterday's 2.5 hour debacle (making it impossible to fall asleep last night...), I kinda think it's a good thing. After work, I ran a TON of errands, finished up Xmas CD's, packed for Xmas and the trip after and even made it to yoga for the first time this week! Oh, Fridays, I am always so motivated on you.

One Leap

tee: Banana Republic, sweater: American Eagle, jeans: BDG from Urban, boots: OTBT from Nordstrom, accessories: Charlotte Russe necklace, Mariyn earrings
I wore this out to catch Patrick rock it (again) as the Bogle in Jacon Marley's Xmas Carol (bringing the grand total, so far, of Xmas shows I have seen this year up to SIX! Which I think is pretty damn substantial!). It was fun and super short, so I was able to get home by 9:30 and in bed by 10... So boring this week...

Anyone's Ghost

blouse: H&M, tank: Costco, vest: H&M, capris: Lululemon, socks: American Eagle, boots: Blowfish from DSW, accessories: long teal earrings, Relic watch, gifted rest necklace
I wore this guy out to opener on Wednesday morning before heading over to a much-needed massage and then home for a few days before I head back over to la mama's for Xmas and our little trippy to Hood Canal.

Window Blues

tank: Costco, dress: Gap, belt: H&M, sweater: borrowed, tights: Banana Republic, boots: Frye from Nordstrom, accessories: Relic watch, Bellatrix necklace from Etsy, gifted rings, tribal earrings
Gearing up to head to the 3rd and Pike holiday/Kayla's going away party at a co-workers house tonight. Tomorrow is also the only shift in my nine-days straight that is not an opener, so good timing, party, good timing.

Tomorrow night I head over to la mama's to dog-/housesit for three days and then tomorrow night is cheapy Chinese food, catching up and crazy times theatre with Carolyn! Followed by another opener with a doctor's appointment and yoga thrown in followed by another opener with a massage & some good theatre starring a great friend followed by another opener followed by some more yoga and possibly a new roomie(!), followed by another opener (and some death), followed by another opener and (possibly?) some Xmas Eve Hawks football? Let's cross our fingers on that one...

LONG ASS WEEK! But I am excited to have some fun times thrown in there.

Crooked Teeth

turtleneck: H&M, jeans: BDG from Urban, belt: Kenneth Cole Reaction from The Rack, shoes: Sperry Top-Siders from Nordstrom, socks: gifted, accessories: Relic watch, gifted mini-heart necklace, gifted green button earrings
I wore this to my opener this morning where I picked up an extra shift on Thursday making my work week a full nine-days straight(!) My first day off is Christmas. Yesh! But it's all worth it to be able to head out on a little vaca post-xmas with la mama and the seestor.

PLUS, good news on the roommate front: had a guy (seemed cool and super chill, works at farestart, used to act in hs...) come check out the apt this afternoon and fill out the background check and as of Wed or Thurs if everything looks kosher, I WILL HAVE A NEW ROOMIE! w00t! And he is gonna move in basically ASAP, so it makes me feel a little better for Jess. So, PLEASE, cross your fingers and hope for me that this goes through and I have a for realzies roomie (and a BOY) starting soon. Come on, universe, it'll all work out...right...?!

Not Enough

blouse: BCBG Maxazaria from Nordstrom, leggings: gifted Forever 21, sweater: gifted J Crew, boots: OTBT from Nordstrom, accessories: Relic watch, long beaded necklace, mirror earrings, gifted rings
I wore this out to Amanda's ugly Christmas sweater party last night. Not so ugly, but at least its sparkly, right? It was fun. Gave out my apartment info to some of her friends, so hoping something will pan out because I'm getting a little desperate...

Holding Back the Days

shirt: LA Made from Nordstrom, tank: Costco, skirt: H&M, tights: gifted, boots: Franco Sarto from Nordstrom
I wore this to the GreenStage Holiday party and white elephant gift exchange last night. Fun times! I ended up with a nice bottle of port. Funtimes with good people.

All That I Can Say

turtleneck: H&M, skirt: H&M, leggings: Lululemon, socks: DKNY, boots: OTBT from Nordstrom, accessories: gifted crest necklace
I wore this to my opener yesterday. Long day. Always hard when its a weekend day to have it be one of my longer shifts... But next week I have two days off in a row (I KNOW, right?!) and I am pretty sure that at least one of those days will be spent tackling everyone's Xmas CDs (although I dunno when I'm gonna see Jacki, Dad or Pam... know that I will have CDs made for you).

Help Me, Help You

blouse: Forever 21, sweater: Express, skirt: H&M, leggings: Lululemon, socks: American Eagle, boots: OTBT from Nordstrom, accessories: long dangly silver earrings
I wore this to my opening shift yesterday. It was the first day of the holiday launch and, basically, I refused to let us listen to any Christmas music. Everytime it came on, I either changed the music myself or I forced someone to change it for me. Seriously, 10 days early? VOM. Not OK, Starbucks, not OK. But we do have red aprons and I like those! The shift was super fun though. I got to work with all of my favorite people and literally did not want to go home when I got off at 10am... Might have been the first time ever.

Yesterday was also the day of me walking to and from my apartment four different times. FOUR (to & from work, to & from PT, to & from audition, to & from show)! It was ridic. Busy day, but with a  random couple of hours in between everything. I was able to get some grocery shopping  done though, so yay!

Going Tough

sweatshirt: UW, tee: gifted, belt: Kenneth Cole Reaction from The Rack, jeans: J Brand from RueLaLa, shoes: Tom's from Nordstrom, accessories: Relic watch, gifted crest necklace, giant gold disk earrings
I wore this to the sad, sad showing that was The UW game yesterday (Can I get a Husky defense for an early Xmas present? Pretty please?)... Not going there...

Then I headed to my show!  Another good one!  Loving this cast, loving the process, loving the whole experience. So happy to be a part of such a wonderful, unique, incredible show!  LOVING IT!

Christmas Eve Eve

tee: HBO Store, sweater: Cardigan NYC, jeans: J Brand from Nordstrom, boots:  Zigi Soho from DSW
Shopping yesterday was pretty funny.  Mom needed to shop for Lindy & me, but didn't want to do it last night. Lindy needed to shop for Mom & me, but Mom didn't want us to split up.  And I was all done with my shopping.  So, we ended up grabbing a drink/apps at Il Fornaio, meandering around Pac Place and into Nordstrom where mama got a cute new coat for Chicago and Lindy split off to pick up the gifty we'd picked out for mama and eventually meeting back in shoes, deciding we were done shopping and heading to Ruth's Chris for apps, salads and drinks in the bar. It was more 3-girls time than anything else.  And it was totally fun!

I get off work today at 1 and then have no plans.  I might help mama out with her shopping.  Or just hangout at home.  Or go to yoga.  But I am for sure spending the night at mama's and Lindy and I are gonna watch Toy Story 3 (finally came in Netflix--yay!!!!).  This whole Xmas season has been very different, so I am excited to see what Xmas Eve & day have in store...

Kitteh-watch 2010 update: Tybs seems to be getting territorial.  Low meowing and a face-off this morning.  Hissing from Fran from in the closet.  Fran retreated up on top of the suitcases.  Tybs retreated behind the blue chair. Left them both out in the open for the day.  Will assess damage at 13:30...

The Oncoming Storm

tee: thrifted, sweater: Halogen from Nordstrom, pants: Jolt from Nordstrom, wellies: Tommy Hilfiger from DSW
Seriously, when I left my apt this morning it was a monsoon outside.  I was in my wellies, hat, rain jacket (usually my ski jacket--with all the ski paraphernalia still in the pockets!  Who wants to hit the slopes with me this winter???) with hood on, scarf, hat and umbrella AND I still was wet when I showed up to work.  And now it's sunny.  Supes random, Seattle.  And poorly timed... I even tried to bum a ride from the roomie.  It was THAT BAD.  Luckily, the hair, sweater and computer are all fine (I love my new waterproof laptop bag!), so life goes on...

Today this seestor and I are gonna do get some shopping done before we do the early Xmas this weekend (my last chance since I'll be Joan tomorrow and Fri...).  I think I know what I am going to get everyone... Although I still need to finish up those damn CD's (hence the computer travelling with me to work).  I made a nice dent in the options last night (as I uploaded new music--2-for-1!) and think that I should have them done before this weekend.  Sorta loving this year's theme...

I also started a "Best Albums of 2010" post, but decided not to put it up until after I've gifted the CD's since there are a number of artists/albums included in both... I like to keep you all guessing!
