I had a doctor's appointment today and she gave me some antibiotics. She thinks it might be an allergic reaction (awesome), but yeah. Le suck. It made me miss my voice lesson...

Drift Away

I wore this to my most failed attempt at an audition ever. Not that the audition was bad, but I realized half way there that the show completely conflicts with House of Bernarda Alba, so I wouldn't be able to do it anyway. Tried to call but no one answered, so I just showed up and asked and... turned out, yup, wouldn't work at all. So, I went grocery shopping and came home... Whoops.

Look Into It

I wore this to work this morning after literally doing nothing yesterday. At one point I considered going grocery shopping, but then the deluge started outside and I decided to postpone until today... Well, I did shower yesterday, but other than that I think I slept about 16-18 hours and just watched TV and ate. It was glorious. And I still woke up tired this morning (but not in the oversleeping tired way, in the I'm still exhausted even though I got enough sleep last night kind of way).

So, I think I overcompensated and ran a TON of errands and got SO much done today post-work. Managed to decide to get my three working pairs of boots fixed all at once (so, now I'm bootless in rainy Seattle spring...whoops... for about a week... double whoops...) and even though I bought a new pair, they have to be shipped to Nordys and they won't be there for another week or so either. DAMMIT. Oh wells. Guess I'll just be wearing my wellies and changing into work shoes once I get there...

Then I headed to yoga and went directly to a matinee of a Red at the Rep (SO GOOD--definitely stealing a monologue from it, even though it's 2 guys...), did some grocery shopping and came home and made dinner for the week...

Tomorrow's plans include work, Costco run for contacts, oatmeal and other large items then trying to get back in time for yoga, passing out for a bit and then heading to the last weekend of the show! w00t!

Rebuilt

I wore this to day 2 of jury duty. And seriously? Everyone who complained about jury duty can suck it. I had a GREAT time! One of the first groups grabbed, chosen for my first jury, in and outta there in 1.5 days and dismissed by lunch of the second day!

It was loverly. But seriously? The prosecuting attorney was sooo incompetent. He must have been super green because the judge had to prompt him about things constantly and he always seemed scattered with his nose in his notes... Needless to say, we came back with a "not guilty" verdict...

Nice, also, to find out that I have a day off tomorrow and that Starbucks will reimburse me for my jury duty days! Yay!

Back to Trojan Women tonight! Here we go!

I wore this to my closing shifty on Sunday. Picked up an extra two hours so that I was able to get a little bit more monies. w00t. Worked at 8.5 hour shift and STILL got to sleep in. Loverly! But I didn't really get that much sleep, though. I guess that's what happens when you attack your taxes starting at 1AM...

Yesterday I went to yoga and then hung out at a Bux on the Hill to memorize lines before hanging out with Dani last night. We were gonna go see a show, but then we just started talking and lost track of time and kept hanging out until pretty late. Yay! Friend time!

Then, on Sunday, I have my first closing shift at work, which, of course, coincides with the superbowl (DAMMIT!)...

Oh sweet nothing! I have tickets to a show on Friday night, plans to see The Artist with Dani on Saturday, maybe grabbing drinks with Jess Saturday night and possibly hitting up the late show of 14/48, then going to Spring Awakening Sunday night with Sarah. So ya know, sweet nothing. Relaxing weekend off.

In less than 24 hours I will be completely off for two whole days. w00t. w00t, indeed.

I wore this yesterday to my opener and thank god (for my sanity, not my bank account) that I was let go a little early because I was exhausted. I think the insanity of Black Friday had completely zapped me, so after the shift a nap was definitely in order before meeting la mama and the seestor at the Ram to watch some Apple Cup action (3 wins in a row baby!).

I wore this to my long-ass opener today. I even stayed 45 minutes later than I was scheduled to do my 6-month review (yay for a pay raise!) and now I am so beyond ready to just nap and eat and pass out. Instead though, I am going to go to the industry night of a show that a bunch of my friends are in... because I am a good person.

Another opener tomorrow. But this one is gonna be super short (THANK GOD) and then I am gonna nap and relax a bit before pilates, PT, an audition and ANOTHER show. Then I have a day off on Wednesday though!  So far, no plans but I might try to catch some more theatre... like I do.  Then Thursday and Friday I open again. And on Thursday I get a haircut/color! YAY! And a massage and back to c.1993 for the final three performances... le sigh. I only wish that I didn't have to open on Friday. But then!  The weekend off! YES! Recording for the show Saturday afternoon (so, I'm missing the Husky game AGAIN), but all of Sunday off. Until I catch a matinee of another show...
