I wore this to my early mid-shift this morning and then Jess and I were gonna meet to exchange presents, but with the crazy-times rain today, we bailed. She came over for a bit and we chatted for a short time but bailed early. Yesterday's yoga killed me. I was super sore this morning... le boo. But it was good too. I'm glad that it was so great.

I also finally got some laundry done today. Finally. Clean sheets make me happy pants. Tomorrow I open, hit up some more yoga, get a massage and then head to the first 14/48 meeting where they pick the theme, the playwrights and the actor count for the shows that the writers then write all night and I'll be back bright and early Friday morning to blog about all those shenanigans too! Blogging this whole weekend. Starting tomorrow night. Oh, 14/48 virginity, I wish I was losing you in a more actor-ly way but... still! Excited to party with all my theatre peeps!

Anyone's Ghost

Window Blues

Gearing up to head to the 3rd and Pike holiday/Kayla's going away party at a co-workers house tonight. Tomorrow is also the only shift in my nine-days straight that is not an opener, so good timing, party, good timing.

Tomorrow night I head over to la mama's to dog-/housesit for three days and then tomorrow night is cheapy Chinese food, catching up and crazy times theatre with Carolyn! Followed by another opener with a doctor's appointment and yoga thrown in followed by another opener with a massage & some good theatre starring a great friend followed by another opener followed by some more yoga and possibly a new roomie(!), followed by another opener (and some death), followed by another opener and (possibly?) some Xmas Eve Hawks football? Let's cross our fingers on that one...

LONG ASS WEEK! But I am excited to have some fun times thrown in there.

This is what I wore out today on my day off to run some errands. It was nice. Cold, but nice. And tomorrow, when I wake up and have to get to work SUPER early, it's supposed to be even colder... le boo. Ridic happy that I have a massage appt tomorrow as my lower back is sorta eating my soul. Seriously, it will be a good thing to get this all worked out.

I wore this to my long-ass opener today. I even stayed 45 minutes later than I was scheduled to do my 6-month review (yay for a pay raise!) and now I am so beyond ready to just nap and eat and pass out. Instead though, I am going to go to the industry night of a show that a bunch of my friends are in... because I am a good person.

Another opener tomorrow. But this one is gonna be super short (THANK GOD) and then I am gonna nap and relax a bit before pilates, PT, an audition and ANOTHER show. Then I have a day off on Wednesday though!  So far, no plans but I might try to catch some more theatre... like I do.  Then Thursday and Friday I open again. And on Thursday I get a haircut/color! YAY! And a massage and back to c.1993 for the final three performances... le sigh. I only wish that I didn't have to open on Friday. But then!  The weekend off! YES! Recording for the show Saturday afternoon (so, I'm missing the Husky game AGAIN), but all of Sunday off. Until I catch a matinee of another show...

Turning Point

Worn to my long-ass shift today. Sucks working this much on a Sunday, but... le sigh. It happens. And all the rest of my shifts this week are super short (and all openers...yesh!)... Just waiting until Friday. I have a day off on Friday...

This whole week is effing insane. I open tomorrow and have a show tomorrow night. Open on Tuesday, with a voice lesson that afternoon and possibly a show to go to that night. Open on Wednesday, spend another day shooting, callback Wednesday night. Open on Thursday with a show that night. Also trying to fit in a little yoga, PT and massage smattered throughout the week. Then, Friday off with a show that night. Saturday is a shorty shift 1130-330 with c.1993 recording and then a show. Sunday is shooting for Night Zero on the ghost ramps on the 520... Yesh. This is a week... Let's hope I can get some good naps in there...

Worn to my last opening shift for a while (yay!) and then over to my massage.  Went shopping for the sammich fixins for tomorrow's shooting adventure and napped and now am getting ready to head over to rehearsal.

Glad I have a day off and get to sleep in tomorrow.  Excited to shoot some guns (I think) and be outside on my day off... It will be a memorable adventure, if nothing else...

I'm Just a Girl

Well, these shoes totally ATE MY FEET.  I will be stuck wearing flip-flops for a while now.  Back to the grindstone today after a loverly day off yesterday where I literally did nothing. NOTHING. Glorious. But, unfortunately, it meant I didn't sleep very well last night... Blearg. But, at least, I got outta work a half hour earlier than I thought I was going to!

Then I headed to pilates with a different teacher than there was before and she was AWESOME.  Totally KICKED my ASS!  Def wanna go to that class again.

This afternoon I have a meeting with the costumer who is building the costumes for the Steam Punk Circus gig at the end of the month. Cannot WAIT to see those. w00t!  Gigs rock!

Then later on I am meeting with the roomie for dinner.  I have tomorrow off, though, so that's loverly.  Plus the seestor is coming into town tomorrow, so hopefully I'll get to hangout with her! And I have a massage tomorrow and wanna go to yoga before I meet up with the fam.

Last open... until Friday. But still... At least I get two days off from early mornings.  Seriously, thank the gods. Got off a bit early (YAY!). Was able to close my last account at Chase (NO MORE OF THEM--YES!) and deposited all of my monies (minus my 2nd & Lenora tips, which I STILL have to go pick up--dangit!), grocery shopped and then made myself a Greek feast! OK, OK, it was just gyros, but still!  I made the tapenade AND tzatziki myself!  It was super yummy!  And I have a TON of leftovers (LUNCH manana--yes!)

Tomorrow I get my massage (YAY!!!!!) and since it's gonna be nice I was thinking... margs at agua verde afterwards? Um, yes please.  Thursday post 9-5 shift my mama and I have tix to Les Mis (which is supposed to be 3 hours and I open on Fri, but... still... LES MIS!) and are probs gonna get dinner beforehand. It's gonna be good times.

Friday after my opening shift I think I'm gonna nappy and then hit up Sound Theatre's Pygmalion and then head up to the hill to see the final show of Penguins at Annex. Whew!  Too much theatre, too little time.  Thank god, this weekend is no work.  Only two 8-hour days of workshops for c.1993.  Blearg.  At least I have Monday off (there IS a light at the end of the tunnel--thanks to my manager!)

One By One

Opened today.  Blearg. Exhausted at the end of the eight-hour shift.  BUT I still managed to run some errands (decided not to deposit the monies until tomorrow when I can pick up my tips...), but I def got my contacts ordered and bought more oatmeal (yay!!!!! Totes notice a difference when I eat before my opening shifts vs when I do not, so oatmeal is the answer). Also, did half of my laundry (nothing better than a clean body in clean sheets, for cereal... Plus, clean apron for tomorrow!) and doing the other half when I get off tomorrow too... Oh the exciting life I lead...

PLUS, I have a massage appointment for Wed!  Thanks be to the gods! Because seriously, this whole working all the time thing is KILLING my back.  I think Ariel must have worked out some kinks every weekend because it is SOOOO bad right now and that's the only thing that I can tell is different... Hopefully she will help me work some of this crap stuck in my left side...

Then I actually motivated myself to go to a GREAT yoga class tonight (with one of my fav teachers!). More plans to hit up yoga tomorrow and Thursday night as well.  Gettin' back into the swing of things.

OK, so I tried to post this last night, but blogger was being all finicky, so apparently, I have to start all over...

Yesterday was suuuuuuuper long. Actually, so much so that it actually felt like two separate days... yesh.  Also, it was the first time I have opened, not napped when I needed to open the next day as well...

I wasn't able to go to yoga yesterday which bummed me out since my foot was bothering me (random outside of my left foot SUPER sore when I woke up yesterday) and I didn't wanna chance it even though it worked itself out as I went on in the day (and made sure to wear my most arch-supportive shoe).

Went straight from work to my massage and then got a pedi right after (FINALLY).  Then, I headed to Justine's for dinner and more Food Network timez!

Good rehearsal tonight.  One short scene, so we were able to run it three times and really focus it in, honing it and making it better and better each time.  Plus, then we found my last song... Blearg. One more to learn... I think I sing 7 now? It's gonna be a Gina-singing show, so be prepared.

I get a little respite for early morning work for the next three days (working tomorrow at 8, off on Sat and Sun at 930) before I start an entire Mon-Fri of 430am openings... Yipes.  A little nervous for that one...

Had a loverly voice lesson today (more pop work--finally getting the swing of it, I think) followed by a loverly massage.  Both made me super happy.  Short work days make me happy. Not having to wake up at 3am tomorrow makes me happy.  Having a day off on Saturday makes me happy... Yes, happy times. Followed by five 430am openings in a row... Blearg-a-licious...
