More Than Anything

thermal: borrowed Pink from Victoria's Secret, jeans: borrowed Citizens of Humanity, oxfords: Pour la Victoire, accessories: Relic watch, giant gold disk earrings
Wore this out to meet Justine for brekkie in Madrona and then out to my voice lesson.  But after breakfast and before the lesson, I went ahead and finished up my Halloween costume.  And lemme tell you, that 3-hour long wig curling, totes worth it. w00t! This costume is pretty epic! I heart it a LOT. Super excited to rock it out three times this week. Done and done.

Rinse & Repeat

tank: Costco, trousers: Express, sweater: borrowed, belt: Uniqlo, oxfords: Pour la Victoire, accessories: gold bracelet, Relic watch, gifted mini-heart necklace, giant gold disk earrings
Worn to my audition last night.  Check out the belt that I'm wearing. 'Cause otherwise, these pants do NOT stay up... w00t!

Closing Time

tank: Kimchi Blue from Urban, bolero: H&M, trousers: Express, oxfords: Pour La Victoire from ShoeFly, accessories: gold & black tiered necklace from Aldo, Marc Jacobs watch, gifted giant green ring
Well, it's finally coming to an end... my professional debut.  And as if to signal it, this is probably the first time I have woken up without a song from Threepenny stuck in my head since we started rehearsals... My brain knows.

This will end up being another looooong day.  Grabbing breakfast with the fa-zha and seestor this morning before heading to our mat and then pizza at the Millers on the dinner break before the closing performance... and, of course, another glorious night at Solo.  Then, bright and early tomorrow I start the auditioning for the next show.

I have three (3!) auditions Monday (and 1 on Tues!).  Yesh!  That is impressive.  But then again it IS general (and summer show) audition season.  Skipped the TPS auditions this year for the first time since I joined and it was kinda odd.  Def glad I decided against it, but... when that week came around it was interesting not to be part of the nervous horde.

I think I have made (tentative) plans for when I am heading down to Panama to visit Dad & Pam (probs between 3/15-3/29 depending on if Dani & I can get down to HP world or not aka if she can get off work on such short notice...).  Kinda nice to finally have that nailed down.  Everything changed with the 5th & Village announcing their generals at the end of the month.  I had to kinda rush when I could get down to visit. Also, filing for unemployment on Mon.  Done & done.

Column

blouse: gifted, trousers: Anthropologie, oxfords: Pour la Victoire from Shoe Fly (RIP), belt: gifted from Nordstrom, accessories: red beaded bracelet, thrifted pearl necklace, pearl drop earrings, new haircut & color!, cameo: new picture hanging on wall!
Whew!  Yesterday was a DOOSY! Besides working for half a day and doing the company lunch thing, PLUS getting my hair cut/colored, I also managed to squeeze a trip to HSBC to get a new checking account and credit card underway (finally--YAY!!!!) as well as pick up some make up at Sephora AND stop by the library to drop off/pick up cd's.  Oh and then I came home and decorated my apartment.  Yeah, that's right, I AM a rock star.

Seriously, though, you all should come see how NICE the apartment looks now.  It's like we actually LIVE there!  w00t!

Can't wait for tonight!  Should be fun times take the parentals out for their Xmas gifty (no telling--yet!) and spending time with the whole gaggle (oh, how organized we all are--haha!).  Let's just hope we all make it there in one piece.  And on time.  I aim high...

PS Pam, if you were wondering about the dress code for tonight, I hope that this helps a bit!

PPS Check out my super cute finger nails!

alternating red and green with gold sparkles!

Prepster

tank: Costco, jeans: j brand from Nordstrom, blazer: Forever 21, shoes: Pour la Victoire from Shoefly, Accessories: Aldo necklace from LA, bejeweled bracelet, giant black cocktail ring (sad panda), gold swirl earrings from Express
Um, so... a moment of silence for my black cocktail ring... On the way to work this morning it fell out of my pocket along Mercer and was lost forever (unless I somehow find it, but I'm gonna stick with lost forever...for now).  Back to the obscurity from whence it came (found in a bar bathroom, lost on the street)... We had a good few (2?) years together and now... no more. *le sigh*

Dinner with the fah-zha will be cut short tonight because I am called for rehearsal at 930 (BOO!) to work on my monologue... I know I need to work it, but honestly?  ONE DAY'S notice?!  Blearg!  It's fine.  That still gives us about 3 hours together, but I am a little sad panda that that is probably all I'll be able to see of him... Stupid crazy-ass rehearsal schedule and him only knowing a few days ahead of time that he was coming into town!  Bad timing!  Le suck!

But I also get a massage tonight (THANK THE GODS!) and I need it so badly it's just kinda sad.  My left side is completely inept at this point and my neck is killing me!  Hopefully, I will feel rested and rejuvenated after it's done because right now I am just exhausted (after 2 giant cups of coffee)!  This work (extra-hard!) all day and rehearse all night thing is starting to get to me.  AND I just over-scheduled my weekend (as I do), so the relaxing will be minimal I'm sure... Oh wells.  I'll sleep when I'm dead, right? (And I'm good so long as I don't get sickie... No more sick days!)

Bangs now fully cover my eyebrows and are constantly in my field of vision.  Starting to think sweeping them to the side may be best bet.  May experiment tomorrow...

Going Out-fit!

OK, last night was fun! Went out with coworkers and it was supes fun. Stayed out a little later than intended and drank a little more, but when does a fun night not include those things, right?

And I had to take off my shoes on my walk home... Whoops! Heels and lots of walking--not the best plan...

Check out my outfit, though! maroon Halo tank with gold embellishments from Nordstrom, grey sweater from Mod Cloth, Current/Elliot boyfriend jeans and gladiator sandals from Urban Outfitters. I ended up not wearing the sweater and rocking Pour la Victoire gladiator heels (hence the shoe-less walk home...). I also added my H&M side-zip coat and a motorcycle hat... I looked cute, if I do say so myself!
