In Our Dreams

blouse: H&M, vest: H&M, capris: Lululemon, socks: DKNY, boots: OTBT from Nordstrom, accessories: Relic watch, orange diamond earrings
Wore this to that Saturday opener. Then I had plans to join Dani at Spitfire for the second half of the Husky game, but we were losing soooo badly and my left contact was turning me into Terminator (it was even in the correct eye), that I bailed... And took a little breaky before heading to the show.

Going Tough

sweatshirt: UW, tee: gifted, belt: Kenneth Cole Reaction from The Rack, jeans: J Brand from RueLaLa, shoes: Tom's from Nordstrom, accessories: Relic watch, gifted crest necklace, giant gold disk earrings
I wore this to the sad, sad showing that was The UW game yesterday (Can I get a Husky defense for an early Xmas present? Pretty please?)... Not going there...

Then I headed to my show!  Another good one!  Loving this cast, loving the process, loving the whole experience. So happy to be a part of such a wonderful, unique, incredible show!  LOVING IT!

Deal's A Deal

dress: Zara from NYC, tank: Costco, tights: Banana Republic, boots: Asos, accessories: Cost Plus leaf earrings, silver and black beaded bracelets gifted, black beaded necklace, Relic watch
This was my opening night outfit!  It went SOOOOO well!  I am beyond excited to work on this show for the next five weeks!  Tonight I am meeting one of my castmates at Auto Battery to watch the first bit of the Husky/Stanford game (HUGE GAME) before heading back to do it all again! And then tomorrow I work my first opening shift in a loooong time before meeting with the roomie to chat about the apartment.  Next week, I house sit for la mama!

Under Pressure

blouse: Nordstrom, tank: Costco, jeans: J Brand from RueLaLa, belt: Uniqlo, wedges: Cooperative from Urban, accessories: chain link necklace, Relic watch, Cost Plus leaf earrings
Wore this after an AWESOME Husky victory over to my friends' bday party!  YAY! (Not gonna talk about the last minute time management decisions by Carroll that just lost the Hawks a victory... focus on the Huskies, Gina).  It's always good to see UW friends. I miss them and I heart them.

Look to Your Left

blouse: Old Navy, skirt: H&M, leggings: Forever 21, shoes: Tom's from Nordstrom, accessories: Relic watch, gifted crest necklace, Cost Plus leaf earrings
Worn to this morning's opening and then to drinks/late lunch with a co-worker.  Yay!  All caught up!  Tonight I have SuttonBeresCuller at OtB (first show of the season) and tomorrow I open, rush home to hear the end of the Husky game/get ready to head over to Washington Hall to perform at Annex's 25th Anniversary Gala (think I'm gonna rock the Joan dress) where I will be singing a snipet of "And I Will Always Love You" (I've been practicing!) and then Sunday I have the day off work and rehearsal at Annex from 12-430 with no work until 9am the next day--w00t! Long weekend, but it should be good.

My Own Worst Enemy

tee: Saatchi Gallery London, jeans: current/elliot from Nordstrom, flip-flops: Nike, accessories: gifted mini-heart necklace, Relic watch, gold oblong earrings
Worn after work (which I forgot to take a pic of, but wore my white Old Navy tee and Lululemon capris with my Sperry Top-Siders--the old ones that don't hurt my feetsies) and after yoga to meet la mama for some Husky football!

Community Connection

tee: Into the Woods from UW, pants: Jolt from Nordstrom, flip-flops: Nike, belt: Kenneth Cole Reaction from The Rack, accessories: Relic watch
Worn to hangout with Dani last night to eat foodzies and decide if watching the Seahawks this year is gonna be worth it or not (undecided...) and where I dropped my (third) phone in the toilet. Awesome. Luckily, I needed a new one anyways and it won't be any big deal to sign a contract and get a good deal on a new phone for both me and the seestor...

Crazy For You

tee: Saatchi Gallery from London, sweatshirt: Lululemon, pants: Old Navy, shoes: LA Gear gifted, accessories: Relic watch, gifted rings
Whew! Today has been a little busy.  Yoga'd this afternoon and then had to pack up all my crap from around mama's (it's amazing how much it explodes everywhere in only 3 days!) and I think I finally have everything gathered together... blearg.

Yoga was good today. I was pretty strong, but I definitely noticed that my shoulders are sore and a lot weaker after the stupid accident.  Boo.

I was so good at the bar last night. I didn't drink at all, but had a TON of fun with the bizarro amalgamation of friends who came out (high school, college, B&J, past show and current show--randomly awesome).  Loved it!

Also, bought my Harry Potter 7.2 tix for Cinebarre today!  YAY!  28 days!

Onfield Advantage

thermal: gifted UW, jersey: Sounders Ljungberg, scarf: Sounders, jeans: Street from Pitaya,  shoes: Sperry Top-Siders from Nordstrom, accessories: Relic watch, gifted rings, long dangley silver earrings
Well, one of my mama's neighbors works for the Sounders so not only did we score ROCKIN' tix to tonight's game courtesy of Coinstar, but we have onfield passes for beforehand to watch them warm up! I am about the take off to meet la mama and the seestor in what is really our last 3 girls hurrah before Lindy has to start packin' up to head back to Mormonville for good(-ish)!  I promised her lots of Skype time and visits (if only to SKI and maybe head to Park City for Sundance? Anyone else wanna come? But no, really to see her).  It's gonna be weird to say goodbye to her again.  It's like I just got used to her being around again... le sigh... I heart you tchissy!

Ran errands this morning (including picking up jeans that needed to be mended) and I am SOOOOO happy it's nice out.  Could not sleep to save my life last night (weird heart beating thing AGAIN), so I ended up taking an ambien and passing out around 2am, meaning not only did I skip yoga this morning, but I didn't even really wake up until la mama called my at a quarter to noon... Hopefully a busy day today will help combat insomnia... DO NOT COME BACK. I DO NOT WANT YOU!

Also, plans to go out with the seestor post-game tonight.  Bringing clothes with me just in cases!  Hoping I get to have one last seestor date before it gets all tainted with me being a tag-along with all her friends... le boo (you know I love them).

Collegiate Cool

sweatshirt: UW, sweats: gifted, tee: gifted, tank: Costco, shoes: Converse
Well, Dani's party is pj casual, so I am supes excited to just be rocking my sweats all day (ya know, minus the time when I am in costume(s)).  Hopefully, we don't have to hold too long (last night's show held for about 10), so that I can book it to D's and catch as much as the Oscars as possible!

Two-show days with this show are utterly exhausting!  And I just found out both Sat & Sun are 2-a-days next weekend (well, at least we close with a BANG).  We have just enough time between the mat & the evening show to cool down, but not enough time to really get anything done (or get a nap in), so it's a little frustrating.

Both of yesterday's shows were sold out(!) which is super cool & awesome!  I am so proud to be a part of this show and have had such a lovely experience with it.  It's also nice to be able to give Seattle Shakes this feather in their hat for their 20th Anniversary season.  Come see it if you haven't yet.  And Pam & Jacki, I forgive you for not braving the snow... just barely...

Reprieved

tee: UW, tank: Costco, sweater: Express, jeans: Levi's, boots: (borrowed) Enzo Angiolini (from Lindy)
Sorta cannot believe I haven't been able to get home since Wednesday night... At least Jess has been giving the kittehs some luvin'.  I have had to borrow some things from the seestor in order to get me through the week (GAH!  Same hat & scarf since Thurs--that's just wrong)...

And, of course, tomorrow I am called at 10, since life always works out that way... All this means is that I have to get home by 9:15 at the latest, meaning I have to leave around 8... blearg.

So ready for a Monday off... I am exhausted.

On The Cusp

shirt: thirfted, tank: Costco, pants: Jolt from Nordstrom, boot socks: Steve Madden, boots: Steve Madden, accessories: mini heart necklace gifted, long chain earrings
HUSKIES WON!  And they played so well!  Le sigh, what a phenom game!  LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Hung out with the mama and seestor today got breakkie at Portage Bay Cafe near me (well, by the time we actually ate, it was more like lunch, but we ordered breakkie foodz, so...) and then picked up a new dvd/blu ray player for the mama for her new TV and watched a movie together.  But now, relaxing. Enjoying sitting at home for a bit before I have to shower and get ready to go be Joan tonight.  Should be  funtimes!

Happy Holiday Bowl!

tee: Husky Holiday Bowl gifted, sweater: Rubbish from Nordstrom gifted (thanks seestor!), pants: jolt from Nordstrom, boots: Zigi Soho from DSW, accessories: purple bracelets, mirror earrings
Half day at work today!  Then stopping by the UW to pick something up from housing.  Then Dani's for Holiday Bowl goodness (on her new TV)!  And tomorrow... sweet glorious nothing (but helping mama set up her new TV and getting my new Bose stereo system--w00t!) until I go be Joan for a few hours.  I had a dream last night that I showed up to the party as Joan, and everyone left.  It was sad. But not real, so that's good.  Plus, it made the party get over around, like, 3pm so I was able to join Dani & friends for NYE in Sumner.  Oh, brain, you are hilarious sometimes...

Last night Mikaela, Dani & I went to see True Grit and... seriously, SO GOOD! Hailee Steinfeld, who plays Maddie, was ridic good.  Standing on par with Matt Damon, Jeff Bridges and Josh Brolin as a 14-year-old.  Disgustingly perfectly cast.  What surprised all three of us was how small Josh Brolin's part actually was though.  He is mentioned/talked about throughout the movie, but his actual screentime is very limited.  Kinda cool to be such a huge presence in the story without actually being there all that much. And god, I heart Jeff Bridges (Hey, and PS who hates him?  I KNOW I had this convo with someone recently.  Because seriously, you are so wrong. He is brillz).  Swear to you, you could only understand about half of what he said (you're gonna want the subtitles on for this one, mama), but it totes worked with the character.  My only complaint is that the last 10 minutes really seemed to belong to a different movie.  It seemed weird and long and totally unnecessary.  Don't get me wrong, I loved that things got effed, that shizz went down, but it just seemed to turn the movie into something else entirely and really randomly... Other than that, totes good (dad, you will love it).  Definite recommendation.

Also, randomly, when I came home from the movie guess who was under my bed? Not my cat, oh no, HE was on the roomie's down blanket on the couch. The little rabbit mewed and peeked her little head out from under the bed and then proceeded to hangout in my room for a bit.  So whatevs, they are clearly getting accustomed to each other.  Just a little bit unexpected is all... but good for her.

Twentieth Century Fox

blouse: Banana Republic, sweater: J Crew, jeans: J Brand from RueLaLa, wedges: Cooperative from Urban
Loved my crazy-ass day yesterday!  Yoga in the morning totally rocked my world (and kicked my ass)!  It's seriously, the best way to get me up & showered on a Saturday morning.  Then stopped home real quick (hence the above pics) before heading out to see Shoreditch Madonna that I thought only had my friend, Colleen in it, but turned out to have 3 or 4 other people I knew in it as well.  Talk about random.  I liked the show.  I think it could have used some cuts and tightening up, but the script was good and the characters were really interesting.  Some people were better at the English accents than others (props to my friends!) which REALLY bothers me, but it was a good show overall.  Glad I was able to see it.  And, of course, see Colleen.  Heart her!

On my way to the show I literally watched my bus go by me, so I made the trek up Denny to the theatre (on Olive) and whew!  I always forget just HOW steep that hill is.  Yesh...  Post show I met the mama at the Elysian for foodzies and watching my Huskies kick some Coug ASS!  Whew!  WE ARE BOWL ELIGIBLE!!!!!  How exciting is that?!  w00t!

Then bounding off the the stocking stuffer party!  Super funtimes, too!  Making new friends, eating good foodzies and now I have a stocking FULL of candy, cookies and other sundry goodies! (Not gonna lie, that might be all I eat today--oh how I heart the holiday season foodz!)

Today I am going to be lazy this morning (working on some Xmas cds) before heading down to Ballard area for some filming.  Super excited to do a web series!  Since I've never filmed anything before it should be an adventure!

Blue Velvet

blouse: Nordstrom, jeans: J Brand from RueLaLa, clogs: Dansko from Nordstrom
So my internet was a little off this morning and in my morning grog I guess I didn't notice that the pictures didn't send... Oh wells, it will just be a late after work post today, I guess...

Plans today originally included hitting up yoga again (PS turns out it was a good thing I skipped out on yoga last week since it was cancelled all three days), but I am tired and sore and kinda just wanna take it easy before heading to the show later tonight, so I think I'm just gonna run errands and chill for a bit. Maybe buy my stocking stuffers for the party this weekend (was gonna bake, but that is just not gonna happen with my schedule) and maybe work on certain-people-who-will-be-here-early-but-leave-before-Xmas' annual CD's (you know who you are).

I completely forgot that Apple Cup is this weekend too, so there is gonna have to be some watching of the game after the play I see Sat and before the stocking stuffer party (yesh!  I can't get a break here!).  BUT it's all worth it because if (WHEN) we win, we will be bowl eligible!  That's right!  We will suck significantly less than we did in the past 7-ish years!  Suck on that, Wazzu! (Now, we just have to win this sucker!)

Marathon Day

turtleneck: H&M, jeans: J Brand from Nordstrom, poncho: H&M, boots: Steve Madden
Shopping, Husky game at the RAM, Burlesque, hanging out with Dani for 24 hours straight--YES!  Yesterday was a marathon day and today is the Seattle marathon (running right by my house, so I can sporadically hear cheers and yelling from my room).

Harry & the Huskies

sweatshirt: UW bookstore, scarf: gifted, pants: jolt from Nordstrom, boots: ZigiSoho from DSW
Yesterday could have been perfect.  It COULD have been amazing, but... I was a little bit sickie...

BUT both HP7.1 AND the Husky game were AMAZING!  Huskies played DEFENSE and WON!  And Neuheisel looked like such a disappointed ass.  Hahahahaha!  Sucks to be HIM and his suckie Bruins.  Now all we have to do is kill Cal and WSU and we are BOWL ELIGIBLE babeh!  w00t!

THEN hanging out with Dani & Mik & Nate & Jenn!  Super fun times!  Plus the movie is great.  No spoilers, but it's SUPER different than all the other HP movies.

Today D and I got to go to the HP Exhibit!  And it was also awesome-sauce.  Totally worth the price of admission.  Loved it!

Now just to get my voice back and do a show tonight and tomorrow.  Again!

Part 1: Work Through the Cold

tee: Fossil, sweater: Express, pants: jolt from Nordstrom, boots: ZigiSoho from DSW, accessory: giant red ring from Panama, cameo: kitteh butt
Woah!  TWO kitteh butt cameos in 2 days?  Crazytimes!  He really does not like the disaster area that is my room right now.  Or the Pottery Barn faux fur blankie on my bed.  Or that he was outta foodz...  Maybe that last one a little more than the rest... Maybe a little.

Today is a marathon day in LOTS of parts.  This is part 1 where I am at work and being a normal employee until 2 when I take off home to change & get ready (& yes, take new pics)  for part 2!  Patrick is gonna meet me at my place (I will be doing a VERY quick clean up of all my shizz beforehand...) and then we are gonna bus over to the UW campus for the UW v UCLA football game! w00t! w00t!

Post-game, part 3 begins with meeting up with Dani and heading up to cinnebar with friends to grab a drink, etc before HP7.1 starts at midnight!

I am on SOOO many meds right now (emergen-c, airbourne, sudafed, zinc), but I WILL make it through today and I WILL have fun doing it!  Then I will got to the HP exhibit with Dani tomorrow and then I will nap before the beginning of the end: first show in the closing weekend!  ROCK IT!  Show Fri night, sleep, sleep all day Sat, show Sat night, strike/party, Hamlet Sun afternoon!  I WILL MAKE IT THROUGH THIS WEEKEND AND IT WILL ROCK!  AND NEXT WEEK IS THANKSGIVING WHICH WILL ALSO ROCK!

Let's go!  Happy Harry Potter Day!!!!!!!!!!!
