I wore this to meet Patrick and see First Date. Probs would have skipped it, if I hadn't had the tickets myself, but I was SUPES happy I saw it. It was so good. And so true.

Well, I'm up from my lil nap and getting ready to head out for the night.  Still tired. Still not looking forward to another long shift tomorrow.  But at least, I am now one step closer to HARRY POTTER and two days off!  YES!

Happiness starts at 12:15pm tomorrow!

Taking Chances

shirt: Free People from Nordstrom, tank: Costco, jeans: BDG from Urban, shoes: Sperry Top-Siders from Nordstrom, accessories: Relic watch, gifted rings, Charlotte Russe necklace, Enerjewels earrings
Had another great interview with the other district Starbucks managers and should hopefully hear from one of the districts' people by tomorrow, which is supes exciting/nerve-racking.  I really hope that one of them offers me a job for realz.

Was able to run errands this morning and yoga'd before my interview and now I'm getting ready to meet la mama for tonight's Cinco de Mayo Mariners game!  Yay!  But, big giant boo on the rainy weather.  It was so much nicer yesterday... blearg.  Now I'm gonna change and get ready to meet her at the bus barn in about an hour...

Starting Out

tank: Costco, tunic: Free People from Nordstrom, jeans: BDG from Urban, boots: MIA from Nordstrom Rack, accessories: small beaded bracelet wrapped as necklace, purple beaded bracelets
Act II run/work through today before I head over to la mama's for housesitting. Definitely hoping that the kittehs are OK.  Gonna leave my fat one out with the rabbit and just hope that they can get along alright.  Last night there was a little tussle (I think over the foodzies in the hall closet and oh fatty having no food in his bowl in my room), which of course, woke me up and made me have to separate the two...

Oh god, kittehs... just get along for the next few days...

I kept waking up in the night singing my song and freaking out a bit about the new key and memorizing it and I blame the kittehs... blearg.

OK, onward and upward...

Holidaze

tunic: (as blouse) Free People from Nordstrom, skirt: BCBG Maxaria from Nordstrom, tights: gifted Donna Karen, boots: Chinese Laundry, accessories: bejeweled bracelet, Joan necklace
Love these tights!  Seriously, I mean, I liked them when I saw them in my stocking, but once I put them on?  GAH!  How 60's are they?!  LOVE!  I just wanna wear them with a bright orange mini and white go go boots!  So, super thanks parentals!

So, today we are off in a little over an hour to lunch at Wild Ginger as a company (and hopefully get Xmas bonuses? One can hope!) and then HAIRCUT!  w00t!  Super excited to have shorter hair again because this mangled mess is a PAIN to deal with, for realzies...

Skinny Bitch

tunic: Free People from Nordstrom, leggings: American Apparel, boots: MIA from Nordstrom Rack
Well, some exciting developments!  First of all a US ASOS has opened up!  WHAT?!  How exciting!!!! I totally heart this online super store and now it's all in American dollars and FREE shipping (both ways)... le sigh!  Love their sale & clearance sections.  You can get such good deals on supes cute shizz.  Plus the Asos brand is pretty darn cute (and SUPER cheapy) too!  LOVES IT!  My wallet might take a hit, but my closet sure is excited!

This weekend is gonna be theatre-tastic!  I mean, I only have this weekend to really catch all these things that are closing, so I gotta get on it... Fri night is OtB's opening show, Christian Rizzo, which I am SUPES excited about, Sat is the marathon of Cider House: pt 1 at 2PM & pt 2 at 730pm... and Sun I am meeting Carolyn & Sara for (dressed up!) drinkles and then seeing God of Carnage at Seattle Rep--WHEW!  Should be good, just exhausting...  Next wknd I have to get on In the Heights before it's gone and the following wknd is Mauritius' closing so that's when I will grab that one... Next Fri & the following Sun are probably my only free day for the next 2 weeks, so... here's hoping!

Tonight is our first full run through since the cuts and apparently, it's for some of the Annex board... I am crossing my fingers that all goes according to plan.  And that we have some energy.  That was definitely lacking from last night's run of Act 1... ENERGY!

Shiny Happy People

The plague has evolved into a cold... I now am stuffed up and sneezy right in time for me to prepare for my Lady M audition AND next week's SUPER high audition song for Oklahoma... Perfect. I will be sleeping and drinking LOTS of fluids to stave this thing off (plus, I've already used up all my sick days at work... BOO).

Tonight we head up north again to Lynnwood. I really like that playing space despite the fact that it's concrete and that is less than fun, but I like the set-up. Playing on a thrust/in the round can be a lot more fun. Excited to kick it off again tonight!

Today I am wearing my grey striped Free People tunic with the studded collar from Nordys, white Costco tank underneath, shiny brown American Apparel leggings and brown Sperry Top-siders also from Nordys.

So Many Looks It Hurts

Coming home yesterday before it was dark out? Glorious! Waking up this morning to sun streaming in my window? Even better! Not that it's hot, by any means, but the mere lack-of-rain is a win in my book (sad, I know).

My voice lesson yesterday was glorious! I feel uber-prepared for my big callback on Thurs. AND I just found out I don't have to worry about getting to rehearsal afterwards (thank god), which will definitely be less stressful. The funny thing is that although I am singing a brand new song, "Lost & Found" (also from City of Angels, like my standard "You Can Always Count On Me", but a different character), I feel totally prepared. It's like I open my mouth and Lost and Found comes out. Simple. Easy. FUN! And paired with "Stranger Here Myself"? Brilliant! The characters could not BE more different. Now I'm really excited!

I'm excited to really start to tackle Audrey's scenes tonight at rehearsal! Find her comedy and (lack of) intelligence. Should be a blast! We also start putting everything on its feet later this week. AND we have our first music/movement call on Fri! It's like I'm actually in a show or something...

Of course, the good goes with the bad and there is the possibility that I might have to miss Imogen Heap at the Paramount next Mon... I asked for it off, but since I am already getting Thurs off for the callback and requested a few other dates off as well... I don't know if it's gonna work out. But COME ON! Like, my favorite artist ever the DAY before my bday? If that's not fate, I dunno what is... Lindy and I supes wanna go, so I am crossing my fingers I get a positive response!

Anyway, Jess and I have also started a roomie blog to track the whereabouts of our own Urban Sasquatch (aka Tybs). Feel free to enjoy that as well...

Today, I am wearing my grey striped Free People studded collar tunic from Nordys with my $6 H&M skirt (hey, Mom, how's it look now?), grey Mod Cloth belt, sparkly brown American Apparel leggings, light brown Sperry Top-Siders and H&M military jacket with Aprie straw fedora for the outside.

Gypsy Flapper Fortune Teller

Update: Pictures Now!

Rock it! Because I am so rockin' this look. A coworker even said "hey maybe a little later we can sit down and you can tell me my future..."

No pictures (again) because my stupid home internet is being estupido (again)... But I'll post when I get home, so check back. Oh, and side note: I realize that those of you receiving the posts as emails only see the original posting (thank god, can you imagine how many emails you'd receive if you got one every time I edited ANYthing?!) and oftentimes I go back and update, change, reword, add pics to previous posts. This is to implore you to check out the actual blog from time to time and see if there are things that you've missed out on... Just check up!

So, in that vein, you're not even gonna get a teaser pic today. Check back after 6pm to see the pics of my outfit. I am wearing my new black Naughty Monkey over the knee tassle boots, sparkly brown American Apparel leggings, grey pinstriped Free People tunic (with pockets!) with studded detailing on the collar, a thrifted 3/4 length black cardigan and my Banana Republic headscarf.

It is a little gypsy, but all in a good way...
