I wore this to my (semi-) opener this morning and then to my BXPE callback.  I feel like, even though I am not sure if I want to do an Xmas show, the two things actors have to muscle through in theri acting lifetimes at least once, if for nothing else, than to give them some acting street cred are summer park shows (check & check) and a holiday show (not yet), so maybe it's my time. Plus, it would be a fun theatre to work for.

Anyways... those are my thoughts. Plus, then I could still head east in January or February before generals really get under way... Probs good to get outta here sooner rather than later otherwise I'll never leave...

Saturday Night and Sunday Afternoon

Once I get teh internetz set up (tomorrow!) I promise weekend posts will be less sporadic, but right now, I'm writing about Saturday.

I spent a good 5 hours cleaning up my old apartment and then turned in my keys and walked home (to the new apartment!) carrying all my cleaning supplies. And I did not take a pic of that outfit... not cute, trust me...

Then I vegged for a bit before getting ready to go see Rimini Protocol at OtB where I got to play a little as an avatar for two hours--super fun! The only issue was when I "bonded" (got married) with another character and that stupid other person really wanted the stupid kids... so I ended up with a little green dot (a stupid kid) following me around for the rest of the game. And very quickly after that we "unbonded" (got divorced). That's a deal breaker, ladies!

I was, however, dressed all cute and enjoying our gorgeous weather. I was wearing my Urban screen print flower tee, scarf gifted from my Nana, H&M $6 skirt, and bright blue sheer leggings from Macys with my Jessica Simpson pink, black and white stub toe flats from Nordys.

And Sunday brought with it MORE b-e-a-utiful weather and M's game tickets. Mama didn't feel like fighting the crowds after dealing with them all day on Saturday (Pike's Place Market was apparently insane), so Lindy and I went alone. AND made new friends in the beer garden, as always. Plus they won! Two homers in a row! w00t! Then dinner with Mama for Mother's Day. Sorry no pics, I was running late, but I was wearing my Griffey tee, currentelliot boyfriend jeans and Sperry Top-Siders both from Nordys. Comfy and cool!

True True Blue

My one missing bag (the one with all my soft hats and bras in it) has been found! Thank GOD. I don't know what I would have done if I had lost those...

Houndstooth, Stripes and (faux) Lace--Oh My!

Gifted (thanks Steph!) black Banana Republic heels, blue tights with black faux lace design from Urban, black Isabella Bird shift dress (re-purposed from my high school jazz choir days), H&M striped grey and black turtleneck and Dior electric blue and black houndstooth 80s jacket from my step-mom's closet. Also wearing a thrifted skinny black patent leather belt.

Matt told me I look "business power broad" today. And I'm OK with it! Just having fun mixing and matching!

Long Time No See

It was the move, I promise. I still love you, bloggers! And now that I am all in my new place (w00t!), I will be able to get back to the important blogging everyday. Two whole days off... Whew! I feel like I killed a baby or something... no good...

There were also a series of events that all coincided in a maelstrom of perfect timing that kept me from posting as well. A of all there was the move (of course), B of all the lack of teh internetz (due to A) and C of all the dead camera batteries made more difficult due to A (and the fact tat I had no idea where I packed them...). But now I am a work (internet!) and my camera has batteries (huzzah!), but I'm not gonna be able to add pictures until I get home because we still have no internetz... But 2 outta 3 is not bad!

Today, due to the post-packing, -moving, -unpacking exhaustion, I am wearing my (new to me) black Jolt fake jeans from BP (I had a pair that I bought in November and wore ALL THE TIME. Recently, they started to rip and then the zipper broke, but Nordstrom replaced them for freezies--why I love the Nordstrom!), Urban screen print flower tee, pink A&E cardigan and Sperry Top-Siders.

Pics when I get home? I dunno... I all depends on teh internetz...

Sweet Relief

The big things are moved. Last night was a resounding success! I have most of the heavy shit at my new place and Jess was so SO helpful with everything (love)! We even got free dinner from our new new apartment managers (they are ridiculously nice). Tomorrow the fabulous Steph will help me move my last boxes (and the mattress) to the new apartment and then it's all about cleaning out the old place and setting up the new one!

I literally have no where to put anything though... It's quite an interesting experience though. My futon mattress is on the floor and the only place I can set things is on my wicker bedside table or my ugly coffee table I'm getting not moving.

Today was all about comfort and warmth and transformation (I'm heading right from here to rehearsal at 2), so I am rocking my grey Levi skinnies, purple Hawks by Geren Ford asymmetrical tank from Urban, dark grey Pitaya crew neck tee, thrifted 3/4 sleeve black sweater and black Chinese Laundry booties with silver studs. Accessorizing with my long black beaded necklace, and silver, black beaded bracelet and giant black cocktail ring.

Tonight is for laundry and finishing the packing! Three cheers!

Suspended Motion

So today's the day. Moving day... Yipes! But first, work, voice lesson AND taking apart my futon frame--let's hope I can find my allen wrench.

Wearing my H&M wide leg trousers, black BDG saddle shoes from Urban, teal sweatheart neckline Anthropologie tee and black American Apparel suspenders. Also wearing my multi-colored bracelet and my everyday silver earrings.

Grey Grey Daze (With a Chance of Teal)

Weird weather here in Seattle... Totally schizophrenic and extremely difficult to dress for. Half the day will be grey, overcast and pouring alternating with sunny warmth. Spring in Seattle... what else can you expect?

The theme today, in conjunction with this week's weather, is grey. Grey BP v-neck sweater and grey j brand skinnies both from Nordys, thrifted grey slit backed booties with bows on the side and teal ruffled tank from Urban.

I'm breathing a little better today. Thinking of the positives that come with moving (more money in my pocket, shorter commute to work, still ridiculously central, living with someone else (the cat doesn't count), new neighborhood to explore...) instead of the stress of packing and moving. Plus a co-worker promised to help me out on Sat if I need to move a few larger things (thanks, Steph!) which is a huge load off my back.

And just think, in a few more days, I'll be in a new apartment!

It Was A One-Eyed, One-Horned, Flyin' Purple People Eater...

Purple People Eater. HAHA! Totally what I feel like today with my purple ruffled H&M blouse with black ribbon tied at waist, grey Mod Cloth lace lined sweater, dark denim seethrusoul jeans from Nordys, and purple faux suede H&M pumps. Also with my silver and black bangles and long black beaded necklace.

I think yesterday was the first day since I started this that I didn't post anything. And it's not because I didn't do anything. Because I packed. Oh boy, did I pack. I packed for over seven hours (see the boxes behind me--yeah, that's not even all of them...). I now only have a few things littered here and there, my closet, bathroom and fridge to tackle...

The plan is laundry and clothes packing on Thurs, Fri finishing all the little stuff and Sat and Sun MOVE! Then I have until the end of May to clean and get completely out of my old place.

It's gonna be a crazy week & weekend, but I am excited to get into my new place. Also, need to buy a new cat carrier before the move, since he peed through the last one (onto my lap, I might add)... I am thinking he will end up in the bathroom or closet during the scary open-door part of the move. Don't want him to freak out and run into the hall. He'd never survive on his own. What would he do? Meow and purr an attacker to death? Better be safe...

It's Gonna Be "Awesome"

Where The Wild Things Are

They're here!

Feeling a little sassy for my casual Friday, so I paired my skinny grey Levis with my Sperry Top-Siders, Max from Where The Wild Things Are tee from Urban and my mustard yellow Halogen cardigan from Nordys.

Exhausted from a long week and preparing for a long weekend... I need to pack (really, I NEED TO PACK) since the big move is next weekend(!) and I only have two things packed so far. And one of the three boxes needs to be REpacked... I was supposed to pack last night, but I just didn't feel like it.

Tonight I'm heading to OtB for WEST by "Awesome" and tomorrow to "A...My Name Will Always Be Alice" in Redmond (gotta support the former castmates!), but there will be packing in the weekend as well. I'll make it fit in there.

Making the Move

So with the lease signed and the move-in day decided (May 1), I now get to start the lovely process of digging through and packing up my life. I have never been happier that I did the BIG clean back in January... I had so much shit that I got rid of then and now do not even need to worry about (Thank GOD).

This should mostly end up being about packing and since I don't have to be out of my current place until the end of May, this gives me a little leeway.

My biggest worry? The cat. I keep wondering how he is going to deal with everything: the packing, the move, the new place, the roommate (+1) and the unpacking. He is really the reason I wanna get everything from one place to the other in one day, if possible, and one weekend for sure. He's going to have a tough enough transition, I would rather not confuse him by not being where he is...

So, I need to buy a cat carrier and get this whole packing thing started officially. Wish me luck!

Signing the Lease

Seriously, about to go and write the last checks and sign the lease on our NEW APARTMENT!

Decided not to get another shirt dirty (with my track record on laundry it's probably a good idea...) So, rocking the same Fossil tee, thrifted sweater with lace back, Urban Outfitters dark denim skinny jeans and NEW Sperry Top-Siders! w00t!
